candi lunsford

Hmmmm. This requires a couple of deep thinks. Whatever it is it’s gonna be amazing—that’s never in question.

Karen & Lauren

Shoulda started that sooner.... (see what I did there?🙃)

Huldra Draco

Ooooo tubular bells have always been a good sign 😁

Manasi Kane

I’m glad the dramatic glasses removal has become a thing 🤣 You’re right , that’s a lot of bells 🤣 Intriguing ❤️

Maria Rydström

I agree with you. It sounds really cool and i’m excited💕

Gretchen G

Something about it sounds familiar, but I'm probably just imagining that, lol. Thanks for the little glimpse into the new project!

Suzy Bailey

Ooh lovely and very intriguing, can't wait, thanks for the update! 🔔💜

ZAYRAY!

You owe me a dollar

Tracy K

Well, if *you* don't know, how can we??? 😜 Sounds good though. Looking forward to the final piece idc. Look after yourself, and love to Kathy as I'm sure she's also super busy. Xxx

Jenny Pelinka Author

Sounds interesting...👍 But I have no idea what it could be 🤔

Carol Franklin

Great it’s that time again! No idea but it’s you so it’ll be fantastic

Doyne

Well, that sounds interesting! Great to hear something's coming our way "Sooooooooooon…"

Sarah Borzelli

The spectacular, dramaturgic glasses removal is super, I'm a fan! Hi, it's me - *dramatic glasses removal* - Bass Man! I'm also a fan of the tubular bells! I have no idea, what it's gonna be. You're the master of the unexpected...just like with the beginning of 'Ring of Fire'. But I'm sure it's gonna be so cool!

Teresa Ritter

I have my suspicions, but I will keep it to myself. 🤫

Josh Smift

I would love to hear an a cappella cover of Tubular Bells. :^ )

Bill

🧐 Made me try and recall a little trivia I learned somewhere about tower/carillon bells having a m3rd overtone... I had to dive in on tubular bells to see if they share the same signature. I'll let those of you who care do your own search because I doubt that it matters to most. 🤔 🧐 BTW, if you want to hear something that sounds odd to most of us because we are so used to the minor 3rd, look up and listen to a bell that corrects for the minor... The one I saw looked like really odd 😎😁

Helen D

Sounds intriguing, can't wait to hear it.

J.L.

It's a tune, a melody, a song... Something tell me that... Call it a hunch... 🤪

Delila Hall

No, you know but we don’t. Can’t wait!!

Beth Comer

It sounds spooky and amazing!

Kathy Templeman

I love tubular bells. Thanks for including them!

Jeanette Pencz

😂 soooon. This bells sounds spooky cool. I am super curious but will patiently impatiently waiting for it 😁 Thank you for the update Geoff.

Susana

what is it gonna be?????? No idea! Anxiety and curiosity . Thank you, Geoff for the updating, we were missing you.

Sue Armstrong

Hmmmm, intriguing! What could it be???? 🤔 Can't wait to find out!

Jonna J

I was mostly distracted by the amazingness and spaciousness of that desk and the slidey thing for the keyboard seems really useful. I don't think I recognize the melody from the bells, but going from previous experience about the epic bass that turned out to be wayfaring stranger and the western guitar which became ring of fire, I'm going to guess this is going to be totally unexpected version of some punk or rock song, like Boulevard of Broken Dreams

Diary and Poetry

Oh how my first thought was something by mike oldfield when you said "tubular bells". But i cant remember anything by him, that would fit this snippet. It's been a while since i listened to oldfield.

Daniel Anderson

I'm glad you're feeling better Geoff! I'll watch the video when I get done with school. Please know that we all understand you're super busy with Voiceplay and other stuff, and we'll be as patient until you come out with your next masterpiece of a video😁

Emma Yadkin

Love the totally tubular teaser, thanks Geoff.

Judi B E

My guess, Pink Floyd's Money. ? I am sure I am wrong, but that's where my brain went immediately.

Chris Benefield

Im still trying to get over my excitement with the wanted dead or alive cover.🥰😍 can't wait for this one.

Cloudy Skies

And....is Geoff sitting at his standing desk? 🤔

Susana

Ya sé!!! el comienzo de RED RIGHT HAND!!!!!! (al menos espero eso, lo pedí tantas veces). YES! empieza de una manera el tema que combina con lo que nos hizo escuchar (si es el comienzo de lo que grabó). RED RIGHT HAND! / Me parece que son las ganas de que sea esa, haha!!! déjenme soñar que es ese tema.

Talbot

It ALMOST sounds familiar but I just can't grasp it. Schweet desk, by the way, I bet you're glad you finally got that organized..

Susana

Haha, I was so happy that I wrote my comment in Spanish!!! for me it's RED RIGHT HAND! (At least, it's the one I have been asking for such a long time). It seems to me that the beginning of each song may match, we know Geoff changes how the songs starts (like Ring of fire). But... I am almost sure (or let me imagine it is). I'm still laughing that I wrote in Spanish before, nobody is going to understand.

elithea whittaker

i thought of oldfield instantly, too, if only because he was virtually the only one when he wrote tubular bells, and i’m old enough to remember that! (hell, i’m old enough to forget that!) tbh, i hadn’t realized they’d become a thing.

Ginia (gin-ya)

Lol. Looks like you are enjoying working on it. 😊 Thanks for the fun update.

Tina Wolf

Hmmm dramatic 🤔 very interesting can't wait

B Sprak

Sounds like a mysterious thriller with a dash of cathedral.

Ginia (gin-ya)

It's Tuuubular. (She says in her best Dustin voice from stranger things) Hahaha. Sorry, couldn't resist.

B Sprak

Technically it's a sit-stand desk. I have one! Amazing for making you feel comfortable. If you need to get off your feet, lower the desk and sit n visa versa. If you get so tired you're falling asleep standing (I've been there after 36 hours) go to bed or wake up having cracked your head on the very ergonomic desk leaving you open to comments about your common sense.

Marie DesJardin

Mild mannered musician: "Hey everybody, it's me." * whips off glasses* ON NO IT'S SUPER BASS! I never saw that coming... O_0

Jim Lake

Sounds very cool. Another fabulously inventive instrumental arrangement from the guy whose vocals are the main event. I love how thorough you are in these projects, and I'm glad to see you're having fun with the details. Thanks for sharing this.

PetraH

Ooh, a soooon update that has everything I can wish for! Confirmation that it is soon time soon, dramatic glasses removal, a lot of tubular bells, also pretty dramatic, and of course leaving me -as always- without any idea what it is gonna be, but with a big happy smile 😊 PS inspired me to have a quick listen to Mike Oldfield’s Tubular Bells 🔔 PSPS The new desk looks cool

Agnes EvaR

Wow! That sounds pretty creepy (?), mysterious (?), or even otherworldly (?). I hope it’s the full version of Wayfaring Stranger, but honestly, based on that tubular bell melody, I have no idea which song you’re going to surprise us with. 🤔 From what I know about you, you usually share a short snippet of the instrumental version with us when you’re sure we won’t guess the song. 😉 I think that’s the case here, too. So I can’t wait for the secret to be revealed sooooooooooon.

Talbot

I understood because you whipped out RED RIGHT HAND in all caps!

Karen Greenwood

I hummed Imagine Dragons “Believer”. Don’t know why…

Zoie McIntyre

ooo ... coming soon..... can't wait! xoxo

Christine

Looking forward to whatever it is.

ChazyUK

Whoo 😀 this is intriguing 🧐 as always. Now I have no idea 🤷🏼‍♀️ what it is but in my head I am trying my hardest to make it have the essence of a Bowie song 🤣 David had a wonderful tone to his voice just like Geoff does. Whatever it is it will be fabulous and I’m will patiently await 😊

Holly G

Geoff has the moves! Tuuubular; mannnn!

Susana

My daughter told me that it seems to be part of a song by DEPECHE MODE. It would also be great a DAVID BOWIE song, perfect for Geoff. But... we will have to wait. (I insist with Red Right Hand, I hope one day he'll do it).

KorKnot

I thought of their song Time (don't think I've ever guessed right for any of his songs lol).

Blackshadow676

I think this is red right hand. I hope so I love the song

David Wanderer

gosh! this is going to be fun. Love the glee in your face, and that you share bits you like with us.

Silv E

This is cool! Very mysterious. And I like your pointing in random directions dance. And your state of alive-and-wellness (thank you!) Ps: Hope William had a happy birthday!

KorKnot

That sounds really cool. Whatever it is that you sing, I know it'll be great. 😀

Ilona Dever

You are having way too much fun!!

Born Ancient

Aahhh, there's that before long, in a little while, 'soon' word from Geoff! It always brightens up my day! Future joy & happieness loading.......... 😊

Leanne Hannant

Slower version of pony (magic mike song) ??

Crisstina Joubert

Huh, no idea,🧐 but they do sound cool, and I like your conducting. 😎Thanks for the update!❤️

Jen

Love it and your New desk looks amazingly more comfortable than the old one

Tonia Richardson

This sounds hauntingly cool, Geoff! I don't know what it's gonna be, but I love it already! Mahalo for the preview!

Suzann Harris

I agree with Tonia, Chazy UK, and Agnes! "...hauntingly cool," "intriguing," and "otherworldly!" As for me? Soooooooooo excited!

Cécile Roussey

That’s great ^^ With these bells, I wonder what kind of music you’re bringing us again, Geoff! And we’ll like it as usual ^^ I really enjoy watching you have fun with the bells :-D

Amanda Nott

Some people were suggesting red right hand. I was not familiar with the song so I went to go check it out, and I agree that could be it! Regardless of what the song is, I think I'm going to like it!

Hunter

I am a SUCKER for Tubular bells. Absolutely did not like The Exorcist. (not saying it's an awful movie, it's on the of the best horror movies out there) But the 'theme song' which was part of an album by Mike Oldfield was my introduction to tubular bells. and then "Carol Of The Bells" by Trans-Siberian Orchestra really struck me. (Quite the contrast, I know.) but ever since then, I love the sound including a death knell. There's something about it that speaks to me. (Fun fact: it's in 15/8 time signature. Who does that!?)

Cécile Roussey

Honestly, Geoff, I get too much when you have fun with the music where there are bells ^^ I like knowing you’re happy <3

Cécile Roussey

And it’s going to be great too! As always ^^

Dame Valiant

Ooooh this sound spooky!!!! Looks like we are in for a threat!!!!!
