Ashley Evers

Weren't you the one who complained when Disney started their Halloween stuff in August? 🤣 Or are you just getting all your videos filmed for the rest of the year? 🤣

Doyne

Thanks! Excited for the update that your Halloween video is in the works!

Talbot

My piano's broken...oh, no it isn't. And that's the news.

Cloudy Skies

Another pretty piano that doesn't work right. Lawl! And, um, happy Hallowe'en!

Ashley Evers

"You gotta really *hate* the piano" 🤣

Angie Woollard

Shitty pianos make for the best Halloween tones anyway. Can’t wait to see/hear what you’ve cooked up!

Jamie T.

Hmm, arranging something too difficult for yourself? I thought it was Layne's job to arrange things too difficult for you to do and then make you do them anyway 😂. Thanks for the update!

Doyne

Remember all that they have going on in Sept. though!

Amy Murray

Okay but now I wanna see the bass singer playing that beautiful upright bass in the background!

Leslie Langfitt

So the pedals don't work, but at least this one's in tune. 🤣 Guess you can't win 'em all.

Manasi Kane

Halloween and Christmas 🤣 What is time anyway 😅 Looking forward to all the songs as always ❤️ Thank you for the update !

Sarah Borzelli

Oh, the Curse of Geoff and the Pianos! You can't sing and play simultaneously? Just film hands and face separately 😂. Or one clone plays and one clone sings...many possibilities 😂 I love the set!

Karin Wolf

Halloween & Christmas done in August... preparing for important things on time...👍 But what about near future? Already finished? Just asking... 🤔

Gillian Drysdale

what is it about you and pianos? you definitely need to do,piano man!

Gretchen G

Getting all the holiday songs done early this year, huh? 🎄 🎃 Glad the piano kinda works! 😅

Sue Armstrong

You guys are working hard this month! Looking forward to All The Things, and hopefully one day you can find that one decent piano in Florida. 😁

Mikki Fullerton

As a music lover having to hate your piano to play sounds horrible😂 . The situations you find yourself in for filming always amuse me. Good luck with your faking today! Also... hooray for Halloween!

Daniel Anderson

First working on a Christmas song, now Halloween! Excited for the new video! I'm not as informed of the non-working piano stories, but at least you can get it to work! Take your time, we'll all be waiting patiently. Thank you for the update Geoff! 😊

PetraH

Thanks for the update and piano news. Can’t wait to hear that piano part!! 🥳 Impressive filming schedule, sounds like excellent planning to me - 🎃 ✅ - 🎄 ✅. Can‘t wait to see all the exciting things that are coming sooooon-ish 🎶🥰

Marna Brown

I have faith that you will make it work. You always are amazing. You set the bar way too high not realizing just how fantastic the end result is for us. Just don't get frustrated. As far as I am concerned you can sit on a stool, no clones, no elaborate anything and just sing with that amazing voice. And it becomes perfection! And we love it ❣️ Don't stress. Just be that voice that can transport us wherever you want to take us. I can't wait!! 💕

Jenn Maples

Looks like you found somewhere new to film. Thank you for the update 😊

Nathan Wahl

Don't look at me, you're absolutely right. I play bass guitar or key bass/keys while singing lead/harmony in a 3-piece band. And you can bet that when I'm singing lead, the bass line is simplified on the left hand. And nothing but chords on the right! It took years to be able to even do that much!! Oh, and of course on harmony I sing . . . BASS! Heads turn on an A1! 😁 You know what that's like!

Emma Yadkin

Geoff's calendar - August, December, October.....wait....where's my turkey and pecan pie!

Nathan Wahl

I was eyeing that by beauty. Knowing how it goes, the neck is probably curved like a boomerang!

Silv E

Well, would you look at that beautiful bass. 🥰 (You, otoh... well, you seem disgruntled. Understandably.)

B Sprak

You found a piano with the personality of an angry goat. No subtlety. Just feed it and you'll be allowed to live. Oddly appropriate for Halloween

Karen & Lauren

I'm not at all ashamed to say this: as someone who has played both piano and organ, and sang at the same time when needed since the age of five, YOU, SIR, have greatly improved in your skills at both singing and playing in the time that I've been a patron, that it impresses me every time I get to see you perform. In all your humbleness, you really are better than you give yourself credit for. 💛

AmbularD

Good strategy--if you gotta fake it, own it! And then nobody can accuse you of trying to deceive anyone. (People will anyway, because people, but you know we've got your back.) In any case, it's going to be fantastic and I can't wait. ❤️

Nathan Wahl

There's playing relatively simple parts while singing. That's difficult but takes a lot of practice. But Geoff's arrangements can get very complicated; a lot of chord inversions, extensions and variations, runs, grace notes and other things. Even for a pro like he is, at some point it just gets too hard to do both well. He plays normally and sings well, but at the level he wants this requires doing it in a couple of steps.

Maria Rydström

It seems to be very hard to find a piano that works for you😂. Any way,i’m very curious about all the new things that’s coming. Halloween, Christmas and maybe something a bit closer to now💕

Melissa Elliott

You're a piano faker?! Lol. Looking forward to hearing something spooooky!

Katherine Powell

Thank you for the update, Geoff! Though, we probably could've guessed the piano was out of tune or didn't work or wasn't real. hahahaha :D

Talbot

No real news is good news!

Amanda Nott

I read your comment too fast, and at first I thought you said 'no clothes' instead of 'no clones'! I thought well that would sure shake things up a bit! LOL!

Sarah Reach

Gramophones and crappy pianos - extremely on brand 😁

Jaezrar

Oh wow, you are amping it up 😅 I'm sure it will sound amazing nonetheless!

Marie Galaxy

I’m so befuddled. A Christmas song is coming soon…but Halloween is being filmed now. Which one will be first? And you know, either way, I am as eager as can be! 💜💚

Ilona Dever

Oh, no! Did I miss something?

Ilona Dever

Well, remember that we love you and that will make it all better. No? Drat!!

Meg Dailey

Christmas in August? No. Halloween in August? Yes, and also every other month, please and thank you~

Suzann Harris

Seeing Halloween/Autumn decorations already on display in the stores, and now this from you, Geoff? Soooooooooooo excited!

Marie DesJardin

Mash that pedal-- ain't it great Geoff will play by channeling hate

Helen D

You have achieved an extra skill... finder of all out of tune and broken pianos! Enjoy :) Can't wait to see what you have come up with, always worth the wait. :)

KorKnot

Thanks for posting this update. Any & all information is appreciated. 😀💓

Jonna J

Glad to see Gramophone making it's return. Confused how it's Halloween now when it was Christmas last week. Time really does fly

Shirli Walker

Be still my beating heart…….❣️

Shirli Walker

All I can say is ….soooooooon! Can’t wait and doughnuts at the ready ❣️

Jen

We all have faith that you guys will make it work.

Shirley27

I love your Halloween videos. Can’t wait!

C. McClean

Love Geoff's playing and love his singing but more than all that love his honesty about what he does . Proves he has more honesty, and it is equal or more than even his talent which is enormous.

Jeanette Pencz

Thank you for the update Geoff 😁 And I am impressed that you manage to find every out of tune or broken piano in Florida 😂😂

Åse M Bruun Lagnestål

Lol! Your honesty is adorable. 🥰 And your history of broken pianos is admirable. 😁

Sarah Borzelli

Oh 100% (I was just messing)! And that's why we love Geoff arrangements! 🥰

ChazyUK

All the good wishes Geoff for a great outcome 👍 we all know you will pull it off as always. Excited to see the Halloween 🎃 vid not so excited it’s already a thing in August lol 😂 cos that means Christmas 🎄is not far behind 🤣🫣 Thank you Geoff for sharing your update 😊

Delila Hall

I find it hard to believe there’s an arrangement you can’t play. I’m always amazed at your skills. And I know you said if you had more time to practice…

Shellee Roe

lol so you're holding yourself to a higher standard. Also do you collect broken pianos?

Loralei Dragon

This gives me hope for a Harry Connick song at some point!

Zoie McIntyre

Oh my Geoff - what a challenge with the piano. That is horrid! You look like this has been such a frustrating time with this one. It will make it all the sweeter when it is done - hopefully it does for you too and not just become something that you hate. Take care and remember to have fun. xoxo

Tema Krempley

How did you manage to do two piano follies in one go? I’m oddly impressed.

Stacey V.

Like a 7.4 on the Richter scale Lol

Crisstina Joubert

Sounds very interesting, but I’m sure you’ll give us a spectacular Halloween video treat no matter the Piano tricks! Thank you, can’t wait!!❤️👻🎃

Cécile Roussey

My little Geoff Know that I am proud of you, that I love hearing from you and seeing you... ^^ I love your covers, and I feel that your Halloween video is going to be a delight ^^ and this piano on the sound side, it looks like my parents' piano... it’s old, it’s over 50 years old... if not 60... and God knows how much I enjoy playing on this piano, with the pedal resonating, when I composed my songs all at once, I kept playing every day, and I loved it... ^^

Karen Grace

Something to look forward to. We all know you'll figure it all out.

Marna Brown

Oh dear. At 76 I am definitely too old for that! 🤣 😂 😅 😁
