Hey there everyone! I hope your very first day of 2021 was at least twice as good as your best day of 2020. It was 85 degrees (F) and sunny in here in Orlando today with no rain AND MY NEIGHBORS WERE SETTING OFF FIREWORKS UNTIL 3AM LAST NIGHT WHYYYYYYYY????!!! 

You know, I don't wanna be that guy that runs out in the street in my skivvies and says "hey there, kiddos. I know you're having fun with the crash bang booms, but it's late and baby guy wakes up at the crack of dawn whether i sleep or not, so can you give me a break here?" But i was close to being that guy. So close. You wouldn't like me at midnight with my retainer, nasal strip, and clay mask. I'm quite the sight. 

Ok, so we're off to a rough start with the two-oh-two-one, but we'll take a mulligan and start fresh tomorrow. Speaking of...

Oh no! Sorry to hear about the fireworks! If it makes you feel any better, we had windchills in the negative 30s (F) here a couple days ago. So at least you've got the weather going for you over there. 🙂 I've been looking forward to sharing this song with my friends! Are you nervous about it premiering? Excited?

That's some mental image! Makes me feel better about my neighbors going until 12:40. In the pouring freezing rain no less. Which significantly reduced my desire to go yell at them. Today I had a goat emergency (she got into rat poison fml) and then another one, when a goat surprised me by giving birth to a weak little baby. So there's one on Christmas, one on new years! And now there's two goats in my living room again and I need to wake up multiple times throughout the night to check on them. On the plus side, the baby is adorable. *Facepalm* so I'll take the mulligan as well.

Yeah. I had idiot neighbors making with the boom booms too. Here’s the fun part: they were the type that go soaring up and explode into the big “flowers”. Pro- type fireworks. They were setting them off about 15 feet from their porch. We live in the same apartment building. These things were literally exploding a few feet above my head (I’m on the third floor, they are on the first) and I could hear the left over bits and pieces raining down on the roof. Some of them didn’t go so high; I had one explode so close to the building and on my level that part of the “flower” hit my sliding glass door. My deck furniture has singe marks. I’m just waiting for these fools to burn us out. Thank God it’s been raining here and everything was too wet to catch. In spite of that, I was reading my fave novel and listening to VoicePlay when the new year officially started. I can’t think of a better way to start a new year...at least... not that you can do by yourself. 😏 Here’s hoping the kiddo takes a nice long nap today so you can too!

Quite a picture you paint. LOL I mentally added in little top-knot pigtails like Boo from "Monsters, Inc" just to complete the image. 😉 My neighbors started celebrating at 7:15pm (?) and never quite stopped until 2021 was official. Guess they wanted to make good and sure that the old year was scared away for good. Excited to have everyone receive the new song! 🎤🎹

Hope all the goats are doing well! We've ended up with baby goats in our house a few times too. They're so high maintenance. And loud! But yeah, also super adorable. 🙂

Fireworks were forbidden for New Year's Eve same as being out late at night, yet guess what, fireworks everywhere. I am just glad and thankfull that our dog doesn't care at all. I fully understand how you felt, but now I can't get the picture out of my head 😏😁 See you all at the premiere, hope your year started great ❤️

Love the mental picture. 😂😂😂 No fireworks here. We had freezing rain. Didn't stop people from shooting off their guns in celebration, like a bunch of idiots. 🤦🏻‍♀️ At least they didn't do it too late. Freezing rain must have driven them inside.
