SHENANDOAH PUBLIC PREMIERE (Patreon)

"Shenandoah" is going out to the unwashed masses tomorrow (FRIDAY 1.7.22) at 12pm EST. My prediction is that I have gastric distress as I'm hitting publish and then frantically drink coffee until the whole thing is over. Join me won't you? 😬

I'll be chatting along with the genpubs starting around 11:30ish so feel free to jump on the chat if you've got a few minutes. It's usually an average time for everyone involved, but I can make no promises on the quality of time that you'll have because that's just too much darned pressure. I wish us both the very best of lucks.

I don't think you have anything to worry about. I have no idea yet if this will be a crowd pleaser, but for those of us it resonates with, it is powerful. I played the preview for my Mom on New Years day, and was surprised when my dad overheard and started singing along. We don't usually see eye to eye, but this song gave us something to bond over and really helped me start the year off right with him. I have you to thank for giving me that.

I’m from Harlan county Kentucky and I think someone mentioned it, do the song you’ll never leave Harlan alive. Another great one for your voice I think is an old lefty song, always late with your kisses. You could really flex your range and make it come alive to today’s generation
