So a friend introduced me to VoicePlay recently and on my own I found your solo work. Johnny Cash is one of my favorite country artists so this was an absolute treasure - so was "Country Roads" for that matter, another classic. I can see why you'd receive a ton of requests for this one specifically, though. Remembering that Marty Robbins also sang it reminded me of his "Big Iron." I'm fairly positive most people wouldn't regard that as nearly so obvious a song for you cover as "Ghost Riders" but after listening to it again I think it lends it self very well to your range and the kind of mixing you do. I know it's unlikely you'd cover a random and fairly obscure song, but I'm throwing it out there anyway.

Amy Petty

lol. You write "actually" as if the song was already out when I wrote this old comment and I had just missed it. That's not the case. Anyway, I heard that short way back when he first posted it.

Jordi S

YAY!!!!!! So excited for this!

Ellen Reiser

Don’t be nervous. It’s great!

Huldra Draco

Yay!!! Ofc I'll be there, thanks for the fancy invite 🥰

I should be able to make it.

Definitely see you there! Love the neat-looking invite!

Angie Woollard

I’d love to attend, but I will *literally* be in a volcano at that time. Hope the premiere goes well! 😊

Diane Hodge

Here is my R.S.P.V. I will be waiting patiently, Kind Sir. Thank you for all the time and effort that you put in your presentations. We all appreciate it.

Jordi S

I hope it's safe to assume you all are safe and ok since you are able to do this tomorrow 💕

Barbara Binney

I have a funeral to attend tomorrow morning so I may not be able to attend. 😢

Shirley B Karr

Few things can get me up earlier on a Saturday than when I have to roust my kiddo for school. This is one of them. Can't wait to share this video with a friend who's fighting Covid. All the Geoffs will cheer her up.

Beth Walsh

I'll be driving a car on my way to the UP of Michigan. I wish I could watch and drive but I don't think that would be a smart idea.

Suzy Bailey

So gentlemanly with your cordial invitations sir! Wish I could respond in kind but in my common parlance "I'll be there with bells on" (cow bells obviously)! Can't wait, this is going to be great! 😁💜

Tara Congo

I can't wait for the world to see this one. I hope you're rightfully proud of how it turned out after all the headaches!!

Eileen Parkman

I can't make it, but I will be wishing you and your ghostly posse well ❤️👻💀

Patricia Schuman

In other words, It's a sacrifice that you have to make...

Patricia Schuman

Mr. Castellucci, you seem to be under the impression that I am willing to drop whatever I might be doing on a Saturday to watch one of your video presentations. How well you know me, sir, see you then!

SunnyOutlook

It is going to be amazing! I’m looking forward to all the reactions, and I can’t wait to share it with all my family and friends.

Randiskye

Hoping your friend recovers quickly and fully.

Randiskye

@Patricia Schuman-groan!!😅😅 (I'm just jealous you got her before I could!)

Tine

See you there, Geoff!😊

Åse M Bruun Lagnestål

I’m not sure I’ll make it to the premiere, so if I don’t - have fun! If I’m in time - see ya! 🥰

Shirley B Karr

Thank you! Her husband caught it first so she figured she was doomed. They're both vaccinated and so far she says it's "not horrible."

Eric

Yesss, can't wait to add to my playlists and share this around, it's amazing! I'll be there! 😊

Paulene Thorne

Yippie-ay-aaay. I don't work Saturdays. Notification on. I'll be watching. 😀

Amanda W

So ready to share this everywhere!

This was a lovely premiere as always, and I thank you kindly for the invite. As my brain turned toward contemplating your next project, I was reminded of a joke that I feel you may appreciate. It is one of those terrible, groan worthy jokes that has been told in our family for so long that the punchline has entered our family lexicon. A man dies and goes to hell, where he is given three choices of how to spend eternity. In room one, it’s the classic version, the evil-doers being engulfed by fire and brimstone. In room two, people are being devoured by wild beasts. In room three, people are standing around in waist-deep, uh, excrement, drinking coffee. The man chooses option three. He wanders over to a big coffee urn, gets himself a cup of coffee, takes a sip and is feeling pretty good about his decision. And then there is an announcement over a loudspeaker: “Attention! Coffee break is over! Back on your heads!” So, as you get "back on your head" and back to your amazing work, I thought I would throw out a couple song requests/suggestions. The Highwayman, by the Highwaymen - The Geoff-tet as four reincarnated blue collar workers throughout history, seems like a perfect fit. Big Iron - more gunslingers, more Marty Robbins! The Thunder Rolls, by Garth Brooks - The thunder at the end of GRITS reminded me of this one, and i think it would be awesome (although if you didn't like the plot of the Pina Colada song, this might not be the best either 😅) Thanks again!

Sarah Reach

LOL, I don't think Geoff is by any means an exclusively country singer. Although that happens to be my favorite genre that he explores, and country is where the lions share of Bass led songs tend to be, so it is a good fit. I have a love for his classic rock/R&B covers as well, and could make songs suggestions in that category as well (I Only have Eyes for you - The Flamingos). For now I am already starting to anticipate something Christmas related, and then - I don't know if I am correct about this, but I have seen a pattern of starting the new year off with something slow, reflective and Piano based for the new year (High and Dry and Shenandoah). I hope he continues that pattern as well - those are both in my top 5 favorite Geoff covers.

I think I've watched "Ghost Riders" 10 or more times!! It's simply stellar!! Great work, Geoff!! Thanks!

Anne Williamson

I'm sure I'm past 10 times with "Ghost Riders" by now, and I'm getting there quickly with "Shenandoah" and "High and Dry." I just can't get enough of Geoff's music.
