I did it already, twice. It burns your throat, lips, tongue, for about 2 hours. Even your teeth feel like they're on fire. A day later, it still feels as if your lips are slowly burning to ash. 🔥

I know it doesn't help you now, but I have watched people who do eating challenges all the time try this. It's best to prep your stomach, and they usually use milk, pepto, or a combination of both. Well, at least I know you survived, and I hope you're feeling better. :D

I'm not foolish or daring enough to try such a thing, but my husband coincidentally just bought a couple of those One Chip Challenges to share with our children when they come home for my birthday next month. There's no point in telling them about your experience; they won't care. I went with my daughter to NOLA a few years back (pre-pandemic) and we went to a hot sauce store where she had to sign a waiver to try their allegedly lethal hot sauce. She put WAY more on the chip than the clerks recommended, chewed it up, swallowed, and shrugged. The clerks kept telling her the burn would hit and followed us around the store, waiting for Meredith to melt into a puddle, I guess, but she never even needed a drink of water. 🤣😂

Oh I’m dying right now!!!!! 🤣 My little brother (after about a month of planning) finally brought the chip to school today as a bet with his friend, and when I went to pick him up, I asked how it went - he said the teacher forbade him to eat it because she didn’t want to take him to hospital😅. So now he’s waiting for his friend to get home before video-calling him to do the stupid challenge 😂😂😂😂 Perfect timing, Geoff! I told him it was not Geoff-Approved, but he’s gonna do it anyway 🤪😜

My dad gave a cat I had years ago something spicy. My poor cat was just trying to bond with him so he ate it. The poor thing had projectile poop and I had textured pink vinyl wallpaper!
