Hello there you lovely folks!

The song “I See Fire” is one of that I’ve seen requested quite a bit, so i thought we’d dust off the Dwarves and take them on another journey. This time they’ve left the tavern and we’re catching up with them somewhere in the forest. I like to think this song takes place just before they get overrun by orcs. Orcs are the friggin worst. Also, terrific dancers, so i guess you take the good with the bad.

I go into a little more detail in the preamble or as we’ll call it from now on, the “preramble” but I DID forget to mention that Eli programmed the lights for this one, so high fives are in order if ever you bump into him.

Thanks for everything and I hope you enjoy the video!

-G

PS this will be going out to the public on the 9th (or there abouts)

Tine

That is incredible, Geoff! SO interesting! I really enjoy this, will be curious to listen to it more over the next days. thank you again for blessing us with your gift. Those tenors.. wooo Geoff. You have outdone yourself. I did not see that coming. What a beautiful, haunting, delicate, strong take on this song. Will absolutely give Eli that high five! :D

Jacquelyn Koh

The lower pitch start caught me off guard, but this is just so beautiful and haunting... Love this so much!

Jason Cranford

Dang Geoff, you just keep wowing me every dang time!

MJ

OMG I JUST SCREAMED BECAUSE YOUR VOICE IS SO LOW AND HIGH I NEED WHAT THE NOTES YOU DID HIT IN THIS SONG

Michelle and Quincy

The Chills!!!! Tolkien holds a special place in my heart

Rosie Boughen

Musically: Phenomenal! Visually: Watch out for the top of Geoff’s bow & arrow when he has his close-ups with Jeff. Gets cut off at 3:22, 3:37, and 6:03. Beautiful! 🥹

MJ

Me to because that song isn’t human

Amanda Hovendon

Thank you so much for this Geoff. Now I have another song to listen to while sitting around a campfire 🔥 ⛺️🏕️

Laura Harris

That was FANTASTIC. I stayed up to watch the premiere and now I'm gonna be staying up to replay it until I pass out, so thanks for that. Had absolutely no idea what you'd do with this one, but as usual you surpassed a bar I didn't realise I'd even put there. Don't even get me started on Geoff #3's beautiful tone or the part with the red lighting and haunting piano... Will be enjoying this one for a loooong while. Also, thanks for Kathy for those costuming choices - looks amazing, very dwarf-y. And I need more songs with that woodland backdrop!

Kimmy

I have never heard this song before but I had CHILLS the whole song! Your voice was gorgeous in this! When you went higher in your range... omg my jaw dropped. Excellent job!!

Jacky Friedman

OMG!!!!! That was absolutely beautiful. I'm glad everyone got a solo this time. Everyone did a fantastic job. All the Dwarves and behind the scenes. It's always amazing how low and how high you can go.

Renee A. Butler, LMT

This was perfect! I could see the battle of the Orcs just before the Eagles came playing in my head as I listened. Hats off to you and your Dwarven brothers as well as the whole production team for all the aca-magic you create!

Dee Years

I wasn’t sure how I felt about this song the first couple of seconds, but after that I fell absolutely in love 😍 with it! I will be listening again and again. Thanks Geoff for a beautiful time! 💓💓💓💓

Jamie L

I was one of the requesters of this song, so thank you thank you thank you. It sounds even better than I was imagining. I'm going to go now and listen to it about a million times.

Doroti 🤍

This just shot the number 1 of all your stuff. Love it soooo much ❤️‍🔥 So unbelievably well done! Thank you!

Michael Lackey

Dude, this is definitely my favorite cover of this song, absolutely perfect. Also, I'm finally able to match your lowest notes in this one, taken me a while to get there but I've finally done it, so thank you for all of the videos that I've been able to use for practice!

Dawn Ours

**no words** just Thank You. Can't wait to share with The One Ring. net

Maryse B

Wow! But be careful not to get too carried away! Well done to everyone who worked on this video. I'm sure it will be the envy of many. Geoff, you throw us to the ground from the first notes. Are you doing this on purpose or what? Thank you for the premiere. And tell your self. hey self! take care!!! The song is simply wonderful, and your voices and characters are brilliant. The bar is high for your next video, but despite everything I'm sure there's no mountain high enough that you can't climb.

FerretMom

Woah, this is fantastic, geoff! The layering and harmonies. The arrangement.... Amazing as always 💜

Laural Andersen

Beautifully haunting, mournful but no sense of surrender. You really captured this one perfectly, and I’m always blown away by the vocal range these four have! 😁 Thank you for a new favorite! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

Pat R

WOW. that was about as low as any song has ever begun. I am in love with this song at last.

Karin Wolf

VERY nice! loved the night, the light and the extra sounds...

Sue Armstrong

This just carries me away to Middle Earth all over again! What a gorgeous arrangement--the highs and lows, and the LOWS!

Sarah Borzelli

There I am, 3:30am, crying over the sheer beauty of this song - I expected it to be beautiful but that's beyond everything I could imagine! That has the big epic feel of the movies, the sadness.... My god - the voices! Yes, I say voices as they feel so different from each other - how can you outdo yourself each time? The costumes, make up, hair, and the scenery are fantastic! I love everything about it! I bow to you sir! Thank you for another wonderful gift! Now off to cry some more!

Amanda Hovendon

I swear you just made this song even better! I hope that when you release it to the public, that Ed Sheeran sees it. That would be awesome. Or Peter Jackson❤️

Gretchen G

"I hope that you remember me" Oh yeah, people will remember you. We are all utterly flabbergasted and blown away and deeply impressed, etc. by this masterpiece. 💙💙💙💙

Mary Benno

Yay!!!! This song is beautiful. I love that y’all lingered in your higher ranges for this one. Goff is my favorite ❤️ Chefs kiss to Kathy for costuming, the boys for nice rocks,l and set, Eli for lighting and Rick for just being Rick. Well done everyone!

B Sprak

This is simply stunning Geoff. Vocally, artistically, visually stunning! Thank YOU for blessing us with this masterpiece ❤️❤️❤️

R. W. Hansen

Chills from the first note. Absolutely stunning.

J.L.

Wow. I have no words at the moment, other than, wow. It will take me a while to process this and formulate some thoughts, but I love it, from the insane beginning to the marvellous end.Bravo, Geoff, and thank you all who helped with this, it is positively gorgeous!

Dani

I have tears in my eyes and that has just qartially to do with the fact that I missed half of the premiere.... OMG that was magical in all of the low, high, visual and instrumental parts. An absolute rollercoaster with your range and my emotions. Thank you very much to your self that said lets do that and that brought all the other selfs together and to Kathy and Rick, who beautifully visualized all your selfs and to Eli that put them selfs in the right light. Okay, how am I going back to sleep now?

Andy Updike

it is always a treat hearing you play around in your upper registers. makes the contrast that much more impressive

Miranda Rakers

Is it strange to request more songs with Geoff rocking it out like Jeff does in that second half? That gave me so many musical butterflies! p.s. I can no longer differentiate how many personalities any person has in real life anymore.

Carol Franklin

I’ve had this on my playlist for years because it’s such a great song & you’ve just made it even better! I hardly breathed all the way through. It’s one thing for me to love your version of a song I hardly know or don’t particularly like but when you knock one of my favourites out of the park that’s something special 🔥🔥🔥

Alyssa Daniels

The tenor lines, Geoff!! Those are some of the best tenor vocals I have ever heard from you! I know people say you sound like two different people all the time, but in this one it’s really pronounced. Lovely rendition of this song ❤️

Lexy Wolfe (aka Pam)

Beautiful and amazing. Kudos to you and everyone who helped, Geoff.

Amanda Nott

I am familiar with the movies, but not this particular song. It was absolutely beautiful, both the song and the visuals in the video! Bravo! Well done, once again!

Ashley Evers

I really love how you gave each part a longer solo. I literally said “Oh, stabby clone is the tenor”, and then you brought in the higher tenor part 😂 And they all sound spectacular l. I love hearing all the facets of your voice.

Jill Weimer Koeninger 🐉

My face just melted off 😱! Again, speechless 🙊. My ears have just been serenaded by Geoff Castellucci/Dwarves and have flown up to watch the 🌎 spin like my mind. My mouth is wide open like a fly trap if there were any flies in the area. Wow! #GeoffCastellucciBestBassTerrificTenor

Jay Fritz

Who would have ever thought that all four dwarves (really tall dwarves at that--you don't find those just every day) would be available to do this one. That guy that sings high stopped my heart. The setting, the lighting, the vocals, the mix, the arrangement, and the song--all brilliant. Thanks so much Geoff for sharing your talents, and everything you do, I think, well, that's it--he'll never top that, and you do every time!

Bonnie Wells

Glad those same guys were available to sing with you! Never heard this song before! How beautiful! The music is amazing! Love to hear not only your amazing low notes, but also to hear your amazing high notes too! Absolutely, amazingly, beautiful! Thank you, Geof!

Sophie Heidi

I can't! 🥲 it's soooo freakin' GOOD! The "Oh, misty eye of the mountain below..." sent shivers down my spine and then tenor Geoff (Fili) opened his mouth and left me speechless... 🔥 and the video is so heartbreaking and great and... You should be VERY proud of this masterpiece! 😁 desperately looking forward to see part three someday...

Brianna Bianco

Wow!!! I loved EVERY SECOND of that!!! Great job as always!!! Definitely a new favorite!!!

Ann Durham

Dang, child! Those tenor notes! Usually when you go high, it's layered and/or with harmonies - the high clear solos were stunning. (and still love the low growly notes)

ObscureReferenceWoman

I am floored. This was worth waiting till I got home to use the good sound system and big screen. So, so, heartfelt. I gotta go rewatch the movies again, now! Absolutely brilliant all around, love the lighting, set, costumes, makeup.....the whole package. I wish I had more words to sing the praises of this, and of you. <3

Laura Harris

Well I’m still here replaying it 2 hours later and it’s now gone 4am - can’t get over how hauntingly beautiful this is. I’m forever here for the bass, but the tenor parts in this one… ❤️ Between this and SoS I think I’m pretty set for the year. Happy is always good, but I’m loving these more somber tones.

Katherine Powell

This is stunning, Geoff. I love how it's in the same universe but still so different from Misty Mountains. MM had really just the one lead the whole time with the other guys harmonizing, but this time, you let every character shine. It's also clear just how much you've grown since even then in your upper register. Those tenor lines and runs....sir, this was just stunning. Of course thank yous and props go out to Kathy and Pattycake and Rick and Eli *high five* for creating this gorgeous and haunting ambience to go with your beautiful arrangement.

Helen A

Well, clearly the dwarves used the wrong technique to steal back the Arkenstone. If they had just stood outside Smaug's lair and sung this, the ol' beastie would have been soothed into immediate submission and they could've walked right out with the treasure! Seriously, this is beautiful. Thick juicy bass notes and lightly soaring tenor notes, with that perfect baritone harmony holding it all together.

Lois McCray

Incredible you were able to get the same fellas back and do this song with you. As always the four of you blended perfectly together. Kathy should keep those boys on reserve.

Robert Kleinschmidt

By the beard of Durin! That was so dratted good. The tomahawks seemed out of place... I always imaged big unwieldy axes 😉

Jona

Woooow. That is absolutely beautiful! So so well arranged. And that tenor part - a very nice surprise. Congratulations and thank you!

RotiniWeenie

This is, in my opinion, your best work. At least my favorite so far. Through the whole song you had phenomenal resonance and you seem super comfortable singing in this style, I love it. Incredible work as always Geoff 👏

Matt K

Enjoyment achieved! Thank you! :) Orcs are definitely the worst, always ignoring personal space. Orc flash mob in the future though?? :D

Anja Eder

I am absolutely flashed....!!!!!! This ist your best project!!!! Geoff, you have GOLD in your voice !!!! Thank you for this wonderful song!

Regina Krzycki

Awesome! Beautiful! Your artistry never fails to move me. You are so talented! What a joy it is to experience your music videos. God has truly blessed you with this unique voice. God bless you and your family Geoff.

Tara Congo

So I'm a passionate LOTR fan (seriously, I have a bookshelf dedicated *just* to LOTR books and memorabilia), and absolutely adore the music from both the LOTR and Hobbit trilogies. Suffice it to say that I was both very excited and a wee bit nervous about how you'd come at this with a bass version. Peter Hollens' cover is still my favourite thing he's ever done, and was my absolute favourite version... up until tonight. Geoff, that was gorgeous. I loved every bit of that so much. The way it builds, that somber "I hope that you remember..." at the end... Just perfect. Very, very happy LOTR fan over here ❤️ Thank you.

Erma Payne

Oh, wow, Geoff! That was absolutely breathtaking and beautiful. You never disappoint with your amazing talent. So very proud of you and all the things you do. Thank you for gifting us with your musical ability that truly touches the heart.

Gina Wever

😪it's almost half past 7 in the morning when I watch this. I burst into tears...its so beautiful..my dad is slowly dying from asbestos cancer and this song just hit me so hard....😢 well done to everyone involved!!!!!!!

Greta Petersen

First thing I did this morning was listen to this song. Got me in tears in seconds. You have out done yourself Geoff!

Chuck Brothers

When you get the "goosies" immediately you know it's gonna be good...and it was :D

Gillian Drysdale

so sorry to hear that Gina I hope you manage to stay strong ❤️

Gillian Drysdale

Glad all the singers were able to make it back! amazing and I loved all of their voices

Victoria

Oh my goodness...that's amazing! The way it builds just gave me goosebumps and chills at the same time. Absolutely love this. What a great start to my day...thank you. Geoff, you're amazing! Xxx

Angelika Bock

Thank you do much for this, that is getting under my skin for Sure.. And Thorin Oakenshield in historischen proper range...Just what I needed first thing this morning.

Angelika Bock

His proportional range - I hate automatic corrtection

Bruce Waln

Wow, that was quite the vocal feast! So glad that you were able to lure all those singers back to do this, particularly that guy with the incredibly low voice. You should probably give him a bonus or something to keep him from wandering off...

Kaleigh Henderson

Pffft "stabby clone" 😂 If the baritenor is "stabby clone," what does that make the tiny-axe-wielding high tenor? "Whacky clone?"

Gina Wever

Thank you so much 💚🌹

MtheHell (Marcel)

I'm not familiar with the song, but it took me away with the first listen. The slow and deep beginning (and the well-known singers, of course) reminisces about 'Misty Mountains' and then the song evolves into a warming ballad. Very nice! :)

Mia

This was moving. And every time a different register was introduced, it became my new favourite. So by the end I was (again) baffled that one person can sound so perfect no matter where he pitches his voice. Beautiful ❤️

Dani

Sending love and strength to you and your family for these though times. In my experience these emotional wallbreakers (the musik) can help sometimes.

Gina Wever

Yes music can unlock a lot of emotions 😊thanks so much for your lovely comment 💚 🌹

C. R. Smith

Very beautifully accomplished! I love the harmonies and the range. You definitely captured the emotions and I found myself drawn to singing along.

Dani

I really love how much of your tenor voice (in the forefront not in the harmonies) you're showing here, you are so much more than 'that deep bass voice' (which is amazing no question I mean 3.54 for example pfff) and the storytelling/the mood (fire sound, haunting piano) ist top notch. I start teary eyed every time and by the end I want to fight a frigin dragon! Or dancing orks?

Biene

I never liked the original song, nor the Sheeran boy's voice. But this one, this is beautiful. It's the maximum of dwarvishness. You should have made the credit song back then.

Laura White

Oh, that was SO pretty!! And the gorgeousness as you move smoothly through the different registers was great, and so was that lighting!! Seamless! 💜🎶🙌

Michelle Parker

Wow, just wow! <3 Blown away by your range.

Gaisha Ziapour Edwards

Amazing as always, just how many more people are you hiding inside you?😁😜

Melisendre

Wow! What an amazing performance. I'm happy the dwarfs joined the group again.

Christine Stromberg

Geoff this is phenomenal. Once again you reduce me to tears. That's my usual response to being moved by beauty. For some reason - age or otherwise - I no longer get goosebumps, but believe me I would if I could. You various voices are just stunning as is the way each you looks. Young clean shaven dwarf's hair is just gorgeous by the way. :) Can't to share this one and also to see what Ed with make of it. I do hope he gets to see it. He's something rather special himself.

Maggie S

Hauntingly beautiful! Thank you.

Yasmin Goosey

I cannot express how much I love this!!! This is one of my favourite songs and this more than did it justice. Such a beautiful version. I was lucky enough to see Ed sing this live earlier this year and just as I did then I had goosebumps from the first note. Thank you so much for this fantastic version. 💜

Morgoth

Oh. My. GOD. Aule is proud

Lorraine Tellei

you are much too tall and thin to be a dwarf. could you contract the image vertically to make you shorter and thicker and more dwarfish?

Bogee

💕

Judith Kern

Breathtakingly beautiful. This is outstanding, I'm moved to tears. Thank you so much for this mindblowing version 💜💜💜

Ruth Barkey

Beautiful doesn't seem sufficient, but it's the only word that I have.

The Indie Game Alliance

Ever since the movie premiered, I have said, "This is a great song, but Ed Sheeran sounds like an elf is singing it. It needs a deeper voice." DELIVERED.

Debs Badger

I'm an outlier on this one. There were definitely moments within it that I quite liked, but overall it did not affect me as it seems to have many others.

Grace Files

This was amazing Geoff, you always blow me away with your amazing arrangements. I have never seen any of the Hobbit movies but that doesn't matter to me because I know that yours is definitely better than the original. Thank you for everything, I appreciate you so much❤️

Alex Sage

a masterpiece as always, Geoff! You never fail to amaze me.

Ashley Evers

Clearly he is the Choppy clone 😁

Kaleigh Henderson

Geoff in the teaser: it’s dwarf time, let’s party! 🎉🥳🎊 The party in question: sitting somberly around a fire singing about everyone you love dying. Remind me to never go to a dwarf party. 😳😱

Sarah Borzelli

hahaha Orcs are the worst! And terrific dancers! So next time I wanna see a dance battle between Orcs and Dwarves! Have I already mentioned that I love it? The buildup, the epicness, the costuming, hair and beards. The beautiful choices for the vocals - the deliciously low start, the raspy baritone the angelic tenors! The wonderful istrumentation and fire sounds! I think I already mentioned it...but it was night and now it's day so I had to confirm!

Virginia Small

OMG. I'm liking your higher voice more and more.

Katie D

Despite how many times I've watched The Desolation of Smaug, I've actually never listened to the song in the credits 😅 that being said, this was absolutely beautiful, Geoff, and I loved every second of it. Thank you!! 💖

Caroline Larochelle

As a soprano, those little notes, in your high register, are sooo easy to sing beautifully. But, sir, you are a low bass singer. You know, Farinelli wouldn't have to suffer so much to sing high notes if he had met a singer as talented as you are. Don't squeeze or cut anything down there: use Castellucci's method! During your life, you've spent hours of your practice time to develop richness and smoothness in your tone and timber all over your 5-octave-and-a-half-still-counting-and-growing-register! I'm so impressed and moved by this creation. You are a wonder...

Ann Durham

A dozen hearings in and it still makes my heart pound.

candi lunsford

I've been Geoffed again. So SO beautiful.

Alex Walker

Holy fire!! As much as I love Ed Sheeran, with this one you just left him in the dust! Can't stop watching it! 🔥

Tracie Schlaak

Wow. This was amazingly intense. Still after these past years are very impressed by your range.

Ann Durham

Anyone want to name these guys? I think it's (from left to right looking at them) Geoff, Jeff, Jeoph, and Goff.

Norman Naylor

I am so glad "Self" decided to listen - and I am so glad that those same singers were available! This kind of song is not my "gig", but, if anything, it makes me appreciate more the sheer artistry that you (and your production team) bring to these videos. To Ms. Tellei's earlier comment: If you need me (who isn't too tall or too thin to be a dwarf) to stand in for you on any of these productions, just let me know...

Debs Badger

Daryl. Goff took a vacation day.

Janet Wright

Definitely hints of scary Valhalla Geoff in Thorin’s intro into the song.

Patrick Wickert

Goosebumps all over. 😱 Amazing song, thanks Geoff! I really hope to see some of those underdogs again in the near future. Maybe something like "In the Year 2525" from Zager and Evans.

Gail R.

Chills. I've always had a soft spot for Durin's kin. Thank you for doing this. Much as I love the bass, I really enjoy the higher end of your range.

Agnes EvaR

First of all, I'm sorry for the long comment. As Misty Mountain Cold was the first video I've watched from you, and it was love at first sight (or hearing), I hoped that you and the Dwarves made with this song something very similar. But you didn't. Maybe that's why this song wasn't love at first hearing for me. (Many of your other song was though.) But the more I listen to it, the more I love it. I think I just needed some time to get used to the genre. (It was the same with Lord of Castamere, and now it's one my favorites. Oh, I have so many favorits.) This song is a bit more pop-ish, what I'd expect from the Dwarves, but after listening to it something 5-6 times, I have to say, that the arrangement is awesome (as always), all of your voices (Daryl's bit dark lows, Geoff's warm low voice, Jeoph's silky bariton (?) and Jeff's crystal clear tenor) are beautiful, the harmonies make me chills, and your range... Hats off! Please, tell the Dwarves to take care of themselves on their journeys and in their battles, because they have to sing us other songs as well in the future.

Ann Durham

He does look and act like Daryl, but Geoff said that he was able to get all the original group back again - and I don't think Daryl had joined them back when they did Misty Mountains. (But maybe Goff and Daryl thought that they could do a switch out, hiding under the hair and makeup.

Caroline Larochelle

The perceived noises at 2'50 are called "jaw-dropping on the floor". The technical team was so amazed! :)

Suzy Bailey

Hauntingly beautiful Geoff, thank you! Loved the piano, lighting - perfect (hardly surprising given that was the wonderful Eli's doing), goosebump inducing bass but I have to say, I'm falling more and more in love with your very sweet tenor range! ⚔🏹😊💜

J.L.

I think I have recovered a wee bit from the wow-ification. Now, do not in any way take this in a bad way, but as a suggestion; what if the piano had been, I am not sure what to call it, a lute or such, a more... fantasy or medieval instrument? Again, I love this as it is, but upon reflection that would have been the double-dot over the i if you see? The ï to make it 'there and then'? I suck at explaining, but I hope I manage to make my point without sounding negative about what has been made here, as I love it already.

Debs Badger

I'm just reporting what Geoff himself said during the premiere. 🤷🏻‍♀️

Crisstina Joubert

The more I listen to this, the more I have to listen again and again. You have truly outdone yourself (yourselves?). I love the original, but yours is that much better, and your range, OMG!! Every aspect is so spot on, and Kathy's talent with the costumes is just incredible (& Eli, & Rick, & Layne, & Tony, & Paul) Thank you (all) for sharing your amazing talents!!!! So, so good.❤️‍🔥

Amanda Yarbro

I first listened to it without headphones, I know my bad... It was great that way too! But DANG IT Geoff and band y'all rattled my bones again! Like everyone else I love your upper range, but my heart belongs to basses, literally I married one!! Thanks for such great videos and songs and unique arrangements. Thanks to Kathy, et al for making costumes and prosthetics.

B Sprak

Is that rattle at the end Smaug's voice?

B Sprak

I have a bookshelf plus dedicated to LOTR, The Hobbit, and Tolkien's other works surrounding this mythical landscape! You've made me feel less weird about it 😍 Sadly, I've no memorabilia, though I'm considering buying a replica of Aragorn's ranger knife. The sword is way to long for someone my height 🤣

Hanne Marit Leikvoll

Tolkien is my favorite author. LOTR/Hobbit is my favorite movies, and you are my favorite singer. So there is no need to say how much I enjoyed this! Thank you! ❤️

Michelle G

As a longtime Tolkien fan I really enjoyed not just the song but the whole production you put together for this. Love that we get to hear more of your range played out over the four Dwarves too. Thank you Geoff and Kathy.

Michelle G

Also really looking forward to seeing the BTS 😁

Amanda W

I've lost track of how many times I've listened to this. 💜 Side note: When you publish this, make sure to put cosplay in the tags. A++

Sina Sörnsen

As a huuge Tolkien/Lord of the Rings fan I was soo excited for this one. I always worry when it‘s covers of one of my favorite songs but you did it justice SO beautifully. Only downside is I now need all the other songs from the other LOTR/Hobbit movies as well: Last goodbye, May it be, Gollum‘s Song and especially Into the west… just in case the dwarves need another opportunity to reunite 😁

Angie Woollard

I will bawl my eyes out if Geoff does Into the West.

Ally

Once again you have left me gobsmacked. I have always loved this song and you managed to bring it up to the next level. Thank you so much for all the hard work you do to fill our lives with joy.❤️💕

Lizzy Hite

The original took a very long time to grow on me, but I loved this version before I even got through it once—so awesome!!

Jason

Geoff's "Thorin" look always reminds me of Keanu Reeves. Looks aside...this is beautifully done...I love it!

Cordelia Palmer

Had a really tough day, and this totally made up for it. What a beautiful version of a beautiful song.

Tanith Aslette

Hearing this for the first time was the perfect way to have an amazing finish to what’s been a horrible day. I absolutely love it, it’s hauntingly beautiful.

Leisa S

It never matters if I don’t know the song. I’ve never not loved one of your releases. I love your voice in any (all) ranges ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

Zolo Zel

First song since i became a patron, I love it.

Lis M

Every time I listen to this, I find another layer and reason to love it. This one gets way down into my bones-- maybe even into my soul. ❤️

Erica

This was beautiful. Not only the singing and the arrangement, but the acting as well. It really does feel like the clones are separate people in this.

Ann Durham

Didn't see/hear it. Was that on the one on a higher patron level?

Wendy Chen

Everything about it is amazing 😻

Debs Badger

The hidden premiere is the $10+ tiers.

Lourdes Sanz

Majestic! One could know it would be great, because Geoff is always 👏 awesome… but this exceeds by much every expectation really! Wooowww! And the song is indeed beautiful! But you certainly make it even better! Thanks so much for sharing your talent! You are the best,!!! Lots of love ❤️ for you and Kathy! Great team! Beautiful couple!

Lisa Pockat Bork

So glad all four of you were available for this video. You sound amazing together! Seriously, Geoff, I love it ❤️

Teresa Doran

This is one of my favorite songs from the series! I absolutely loved it! ❤️❤️❤️

Annette Frisby

Absolutely stunning! Vocals, arrangement, props, costumes, setting, and cinematography have combined to once again elevate the Dwarves to Giant status ❤️❤️❤️

Tal and Bard Lampner

I was hoping it would be "I See Fire" when you teased the return of the dwarves! You're now tied with the folk metal cover by the band Feuerschwanz for my favorite arrangement of this song. Yours does have the slight advantage of no bagpipes though. ;) Seriously, Geoff this is fantastic! I'm in awe of the piano work on this and how the epic feeling of the song builds around it. It starts off feeling like we're sitting with the dwarves at their campfire and then by the peak of the song it feels like we're in the halls of The Lonely Mountain itself. I can't wait to share this with friends when it goes public! -Tal PS I'm currently listening to it as a thunderstorm rolls in and the rumbles of thunder fit in beautifully with it.

Christine Stromberg

More than ever before, with the difference vocal ranges, it's so easy to see you as four different people. Really impressive.

Jacklinka

This is really really ready good. The same dwarf spirit!

Jason Cranford

Man this song is fire!!! 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥 Ps. Since I'm so far away, give Eli a crisp high five for me on the lighting!

Lynn M

After watching/listening to this many times over the last few days and getting beyond “wow, pretty” (tbh it is), I appreciate just how amazing the arrangement is. It would have been so easy to just key change the whole thing to the “bass”ment, or use it as a five minute flex for upper range. The fact that the song uses bass, baritone, bari-tenor, and tenor parts for extended points is mind blowing. The way The fact that “each singer” has a literal different face is the video is genius.

Stephen Sprunk

Another great song! But check out the tip of your bow at 3:22, 3:37, 5:23 and 6:03 before you publish.

Stephen Sprunk

Apparently someone read that because it is fixed in the public version!

Scott Bean

No one can perform so flawlessly and effortlessly without an incomprehensible amount of work, dedication, passion, and love of their craft. At 61 I am humbled by your gift to us and the obvious mastery you joyously share.

Lindabell

So great! A beautiful gift to see and hear this early. Thanks so much.
