Bon jovi, everything with him. My favorite is “dead or alive” tho

Clint Frost

Johnny Cash - Ring of Fire.

Amanda Hovendon

Maybe another narration or a cooking video?

Cameron Redfern

I’d love to see something more musical theatre oriented from you. Maybe a Les Mis cover or something like that. 🎭 Love your content!!!

TheFiend231

Definitely wanna hear u try singing Folsom Prison Blues. Yes, I have seen the HF cover and it was excellent. I wanna hear what u get to do with it since you really like that old school country music

MJ

Crounty song or rock

Angie Woollard

Shoot - I heard a song in 6/8 the other day and thought "ooh, Geoff would like this one" c'mon, brainmeat, think think think, what was it again...? The problem is, a lot of the songs I love are waaayyyyy off the beaten path and, being the savvy content creator that you are, you're probably looking for a hot topic, something that people will be searching up ETA: Okay, I don't think it was Nights in White Satin by Moody Blues, but that fits the 6/8 criteria...

Jason

Any Johnny Cash/Josh Turner cover! (You know we’re all dying for Your Man)😁 or since it’s pretty big right now, perhaps a solo version of Valhalla Calling?🤔

Deb Dodson

Nilsson - Without You

Sara Crookes

Dead or Alive by Bon Jovi would be incredible!

Silje Hoel Sakshaug

Now, I am sure many others have requested it before. But I have a feeling so many people will agree with me that a deep bass singer cover of Your Man by Josh Turner, is one we would love to see. And maybe with Kathy in the video, at the very end like a nice surprise.

Brianna Bianco

I'd love to hear some theatre songs! Maybe Stars from Les Miz or Music of the Night from Phantom!!!

Olivia

Fireflies by Owl City

Cordelia Palmer

"Dance Me to the End of Love," or "I'm Your Man" by Leonard Cohen! No matter what you do, it will be incredible, though.

Robin P

I know you have been saying no to a lot of the Billy Joel stuff lately, but I would love to see Piano Man.

John Stern

Prisoner of the Highway- Ronnie Milsap

Teresa Ritter

Full version of just to be your man!

Olivia

And/or Heffalumps and Woozles from Winnie the Pooh

Judy Wilde

Not a song recommendation, but rather style. After several heavy, dramatic videos, how about something lighter and just fun!

Ashfae

Rachel Blackthorne

Something a bit different: Like a Stone by Audioslave OR Said I Loved You...But I Lied by Michael Bolton. (I swear, I'm sober...)

Michelle Parker

You mean Nine Inch Nails. J Cash "just" covered it! It's an awesome cover though!

Cat

Dream a little Dream of me Nothing Else Matters It's Been a Hard Day's Night The Irish Rover It doesn't really matter because everything you sing is wonderful (except for the dwarf songs, they're just not my cuppa, but the costumes are cool, so I don't mind).

Karen & Lauren

MEGAN FEAR

Soldiers poem by Muse

Gina Wever

Something from Disney? Beauty and the beast? Or Mulan? 😁💚🌹

Jaclyn Magee

Smoke gets in your eyes by the platters

Eileen Parkman

One Last Dance by Us the Duo. Or, if you're looking for a lullaby, how about Flying Dreams from The Secret of NIMH? A bit repetitive, but I know you could work your magic with it.

Gretchen G

The Last Goodbye from The Hobbit Evermore from Beauty and the Beast Bad Things by Jace Everett A duet with Cesar. Or Eli or Layne. Or some dusty old song that you love. ☺️

Tine

I'm sticking still with 'Faith' by George Michael :)

Desiree Cox

Wonderful Tonight by Eric Clapton.

Tine

What about Lewis Capaldi's 'someone you loved'

Make a Man Out of You from Mulan, Music of the Night from Phantom, or just something you love

Tine

Save The Last Dance For Me - The Drifters

ZAYRAY!

Okay… I have a stupid song for the guys (Barbie Girl) I really feel like I need to work out one for you now 🤣🤣🤣 In the mean time here’s a few I would love: •You’ll be in my heart - Phil Collins (Perfect because you love making us cry) •I still want dancing in the dark but I know that’s not gonna happen 🤣 •The most beautiful thing in the world- Bruno Major (this is a song you got me listening too and I find it so relaxing. I would love to see what you would do with it) •anything/everything from Sweeney.. it’s so good! But also could be a amazing one for VoicePlay. • God Of War is something I would absolutely absolutely love to see what you would do with the arrangement! If you don’t know it I recommend Colm McGuinnesseses version from 2018 Okay I’ll stop now or I’ll just keep going🤣🤣

Tine

I'd love to hear you tackle something by Kaleo

Lutra2732

Last goodbye from The Hobbit - to complete your trilogy!

Karin Wolf

You being an Elven King: whatever song you choose. OR any song by Johnny Cash! OR something funny/creative like "Way down" - simply hilarious. OR whatever you like: I'm here for it... and going to raise my tier as patron soon. I'm slowly growing into it... 😆

Victoria

This would be amazing!

Sugargirl90

Maybe follow you by imagine dragons? Or just something you'd like to make. I'm cool with both since i looove everything you make <3

Ashfae

Or I'd love to hear what you'd do with The Devil's Backbone, when you're in the mood for another dramatic one. ;) Though what someone said above about something lighter and fun has appeal too. Gershwin or Porter, maybe?

Anja Eder

I would like " sailing " by Rod Stewart !!! Or " All of me" by John Legend. .....there is a Version of this song by Jimmy Kelly ( idol of my teenage years )on Youtube....he has an amazing voice like you too, BUT YOURS IS MORE MULTIFACETED !!!!!

Tine

Wicked Game - Chris Isaak (you know now Tenacious D did it, you kind of also want to give it a shot)

Brontesaurus Rex

🎵my girl, my girl, don't lie to me, tell me where did you sleep last night...🎵 It sounds so good in low voices. Just so good

Tine

I'd love to be your last - Clay Walker

Tine

Find your people - Drew Holcomb & The Neighbors

Annie A.

I will never stop asking for Creep by Radiohead... (Well... I'll stop asking when you do it...)

Ashley Evers

Dream a little Dream would be amazing.

Brett Morales

“Everybody Want To Rule The World” by Tears for Fears

Laura Harris

Now that I think about it, I'd actually kind of love to hear Geoff do that one from Mulan! One of my favourite Disney films and Disney songs.

Mia

Ever since I first heard you sing, I imagined Summertime. It will probably be my dying wish, but I live in hope 😅🤞

Shelbyyy

Hallelujah- Jeff Buckley.

Angie Woollard

VoicePlay just did Nothing Else Matters

Tine

Ville Valo & Natalia Avelon's summer wine!

John Racela II

heat miser and snow miser.... Don't mess around with Jim... Bad Bad Leroy Brow... a boy named Sue

Mark Vince

You've Lost That Loving Feeling

Stephanie Graham

Here a few suggestions: Black Hole Sun, Tears In Heaven, and Goodbye Yellow Brick Road. Basically, you would sound amazing with any song suggested.

Lizzy Hite

Home by Phillip Phillips

Tine

What about your take on 'The Darkness - I believe in a thing called love' that could be amazing

Victoria

Yes...Sailing Rod Stewart! Great choice!

Ashley Evers

I have this craving for you to do pretty much any jazz/standard sort of song. Come Fly With Me, Sway, Fever, whatever your favorite thing is that Frank Sinatra or Michael Bublé would sing 😁

Angie Woollard

In general, though, I'd love something bluesy with sultry chords...or Johnny Cash...Elvis...those dusty tunes that seem to really be in your wheelhouse. Personally, and I know you don't love this, but I really enjoy it when you take a super repetitive, not-much-to-it song with no bridge (LOL) and breathe new life into it because you do that so amazingly. Ooh, that gives me an idea...be right back... *googles "super boring repetitive songs"*

Amanda Kerman

The last goodbye from the hobbit plllllleaassse

Georgia

L-O-V-E by Nat King Cole! It would suit your voice so well.

Tine

Better day - AJ Croce

Melody W

God's Gonna Cut You Down by a bunch of people including Johnny Cash

Justin Bush

El Paso by Marty Robbins would be interesting! Also I’d love to hear your take on “Brain” by Kara Jackson. It’s a marvelously bluesy folky song and she already has a fantastic low voice. Just in general I’d love for you to check that song out.

Tara Congo

Scarborough Fair, Wicked Game, Northwest Passage (by Stan Rogers)

Tigsa

Yellow Brick Road would be awesome!

Tine

Good To Be Alive - The Score

Tigsa

Those Were the Days - Mary Hopkins

Tigsa

10 Minutes Ago from Cinderella - check out the jazzy Paolo Montalban version

Victoria

There are so many...where to even start!? Full length of Your Man. Evermore - Beauty and The Beast Rainbow Connection Sailing - Rod Stewart Elvis - Teddy Bear, Love Me Tender, Burning Love or The Wonder of You. Shinedown - Simple Man Probably anything by Toby Keith would suit. Mr Red, White and Blue. At Christmas...can I put my bid in for A Winter's Tale by Michael Bolton now please!!! The list goes on!!!

Scott Bean

Angel by Sarah Mclaughlin

Tine

Lou Rawls - You'll never find another love like mine

Tine

Good Day - Jake Scott

Tine

Oooo Bad to the bone would be SO GOOD! Anything George Thorogood & the distroyers.

Tara Williamson

"Long Black Veil" by Lefty Frizzell, "Time In A Bottle" by Jim Croce, "Feels Like Forever" by Joe Cocker, "Wildflower" by Skylark (though I prefer Blake Shelton's cover over the original), I could go on forever.

Maria

Bed of roses, Bon Jovi 💕

Tom Peavy

Would love to hear your take on “My Body is a Cage”. Originally written by Arcade Fire, but more known with Peter Gabriel’s version.

Tiffpocalypse

Bon Jovi - Dead or Alive Jace Everett - Bad Things Blue Oyster Cult - Don't Fear the Reaper Bob Seger - Turn the Page Richard Marx - Don't Mean Nothing Dobie Gray - Drift Away

MPL

Some nights - Fun (although I'm not sure if theirs is also a cover) Easy - Lionel Richie Love Oh Love - Lionel Richie (I didn't know this one, but my Husband just suggested it, and I love it) And then I also agree with the suggestions of something fun and whimsical

Echo Isles

"Wanting Memories" by Ysaye M. Barnwell would be a-maze-ing, but maybe too obvious?

Cayden

Hold on to memories by Disturbed

Tigsa

Add to your Bill Withers repertoire with "Lean On Me"

María Gabriela

I'd love to see Die House/King Dice theme from the game cuphead. It's VERY low and jazzy and I think you would love it (it's a very famous indie game).

Tine

ooh yes!

Laura Müller

I'd love to hear Scarborough Fair

Randiskye

I second Turn the Page & Don't Fear the Reaper.

Paulene Thorne

Master of the House from Les Mis. would obviously have to be a collaboration with a female star though. Bring Him Home, also Les Mis. Bed of Roses - Bon Jovi

Gretchen G

Bad Things would be great

Ellen L Brownell

Anything by Bob Seger. My favorite is “Like a Rock”. For some reason it reminds me of my father. Also, I would like “Desperado” by the Eagles or “Wicked Game” by Chris Isaak. Then, when you’re ready for another Hobbit song , it’s gotta be “The Last Goodbye”. Thank you.

Tara Williamson

"Accidentally In Love" by Counting Crows

David Williford

I think everybody is missing the clue here...judging by the graphic it obviously should be "Another brick in the wall!" (by Pink Floyd for those not in the know)

Laura Müller

-Scarborough Fair -The last goodbye from the 3rd hobbit movie -Music of the night -Any Frank Sinatra song -Bed of roses by Bon Jovi And also I'd love to hear you show off some beatboxing in a Video (if that's something you're comfortable with)

Anne Marie Mallette

Cat Stevens 'Fathers and Sons' since it gives the perspective of both and a great way to not only show off your voice but character acting skills while making distinctive voices through your singing style. The other song I suggest is Chris de Burgh's 'Border Line'. While some think it is anti-war I see it as more of a man caught between patriotic duty and romantic love begging the woman he loves to understand he must go to war for his country dispite her being on the other side. Begging her to wait, knowing this will be the last time he sneeks across-the-board to see her. He questions but will still do his duty. A reminder that soldiers everywhere are human.

Florian Frey

- Bon Jovi, Dead or Alive - Scarborough Fiar - The Hunchback, Hellfire

Tine

Hallelujah I love her so - Ray Charles (though I am very partial to the Hugh Laurie version)

Babara Niessl

Summer wine - Lee hazlewood, Nancy Sinatra T.I.M.E. from Randy Travis

Alyssa Daniels

Scrolling through all the suggestions, I particularly agree with Shinedown’s Simple Man or Soundgarden’s Black Hole Sun. But I think it’s finally time for you to cave to our demands for Wicked Game. Just give the people what they want, Geoff! 😄

Ashton Lee

I love that song, and Geoff definitely has the range!

Sarah Reach

Pardon me while I repost my bingo card/ wishlist... Always on my mind - Willie Nelson/Elvis The Highwayman - the Highwaymen Time in a bottle - Jim Croce Big Iron - Marty Robbins Poor Wayfaring Stranger I only have eyes for you - Art Garfunkel The Thunder Rolls - Garth Brooks MORE Johnny Cash (your choice, but One Piece at a time is a favorite)

Angie Woollard

Orrrrrr Born to be Alive by Patrick Hernandez. Disco for the win!

Echo Isles

Oh! I almost forgot. "La Llarona". It's usually performed by women, but I've heard it done by a few male performers and when it's well done, it is pure spooky magic. But it's in Spanish, so the fact it's a ghost song may be lost on a lot of folks. But it would be amazing in your voice, given your range. Or, in the spooky vein, but in English, "Dead Man's Party" by Oingo Boing just cries out for your voice.

Jacky Friedman

Ring of fire is the only song I like by Johnny cash.

Malcolm

loch lomond

Clint Frost

Understandable, I listened to Johnny Cash a lot with my Grandfather, Cash's music has a special place. Ya know?

Clint Frost

I asked for Ring of Fire, but Folsom Prison Blues is just as good!

Del Rhea Watson

Wicked game. Chris Isaak. Can’t find my way home. Blind Faith. Sympathy for the Devil. Rolling Stones Creep. Radiohead Baby One More Time. Britney Spears. Crystal Ship. The Doors.

Jacky Friedman

I second that. Or anything by them. I used to have all their albums.

Del Rhea Watson

I would also approve Like a Stone. Audioslave.

Lori Templeman

As for a Hobbit/LOTR song, The Last Goodbye from the third Hobbit movie is great, but really more a hobbit song than a dwarf song if that matters. From LOTR, Annie Lennox's Into The West is absolutely beautiful, and almost a lullaby (which would sound great sung by a grizzly bear!), and you could be Legolas (or Elrond or Celeborn or Thranduil) for that one! Another songs I'd love to hear are Warren Zevon's Keep Me In Your Heart (but it is sad, and you might want something happy at this point). I agree with comments above recommending Bon Jovi, Jim Croce's Time In a Bottle, and some Eagles (although I think they are extremely protective of their copyrights, so that could be a hurdle). I'll probably think of some more later!

Tine

I will have to look that one up lol

Amber Dilts

Lady in Red please it's such a beautiful song

Brenda Qualls

Super Trouper by ABBA or anything else they sang.

Jacky Friedman

He let it slip in chat that that's the video Voiceplay is working on. Radiohead or Stone Age Pilots. Both have the same title song but completely different styles.

Jacky Friedman

Hallelujah by anyone was my sister's favorite song. I pretty much got sick of it after awhile 😂. So if Geoff did this it would bring back a flood of happy memories of my sister.

Biene

I'd love something to show Geoff's whole insane range. Something like "S.O.S. d'un terrien en détresse"? If not, here's another vote for a LOTR song (The Last Goodbye) and Bon Jovi "It's my life" or "Bed of roses". And for the fun part, let's hear what you can make with the ABBA stuff. That would be awesome.

Jacky Friedman

We sang that in our 5th grade choir. But not by Johnny Cash. Don't remember the artist though. Carpenters or somewhere in that genre. I could be wrong. That was in 1971.

Lois McCray

Oh, Geoff, you should know better by now. Look at this list that's getting out of hand. You will have to make a shortlist and let us vote. I'm so old that I remember seeing Elvis and the Beatles for the first time on the Ed Sulivan show.

Yasmin Goosey

Fleetwood Mac - The Chain Guns N’ Roses - Sweet Child O’ Mine Bon Jovi - Wanted Dead or Alive Miracle of Sound - Wake the White Wolf Nirvana - Something in the Way (I know VoicePlay did this as a mini but I loved it and it would be amazing to hear a full bass version) Chris Cornell - You Know My Name (from Casino Royale)

Jacky Friedman

Now that I think of it... You're right 👍

Jordi S

Scarborough Faire Big Iron

Jacky Friedman

So many great ideas. I liked all the ones that I think are the best of them. I also have a couple.... Nights In White Satin by Moody Blues. Without You by David Bowie. Major Tom by David Bowie. Ok. Pretty much anything by David Bowie or Duran Duran 😄. Yesterday by the Beatles.

Keith Hartley

Be prepared from the lion king. Possibly a Halloween cover?

Veronika Troll

Don't Let The Light Go Out by Panic! At The Disco (such nice melodies in that song) Also Yesterday is a great idea!:)

Annie A.

Amazing! Let's hope it's Radiohead... I missed the last chats...

Lis M

This would be amazing! Or a full version of Trust in Me from Jungle Book?

Sarah Roberts

I’ve got friends in low places

Jacky Friedman

Personally after listening to both I think Stone Age Pilots fit them better. And I like it better. Not a heavy metal fan. But who knows? They've surprised us in the past 😉

Lis M

This isn't a "next" since it's Christmas (and since you said you're already working on holiday stuff, I guess it wouldn't even be until next year), but "O Come, O Come Emmanuel" has the potential to be absolutely gorgeous, awe-inspiring, and mind-blowing.

Lis M

Pretty sure the internet (or YouTube, at least) would break if he did that.

Jacky Friedman

Chat is in replay now. I don't have live chat so I have to watch the replay. Hopefully next month I'll be able to. Or august.

Ann Durham

That would be awesome!!!

Madison Kinsey

Evermore from Beauty and the Beast for a Disney one Burning love by Elvis would be cool L-O-V-E by Nat King Cole I Believe In You by Don Williams You Are My Sunshine or I Walk The Line or Ring of Fire by Johnny Cash You’ll Be In My Heart by Phil Collins. Someone You Loved by Lewis Capaldi Wonderful Tonight by Eric Clapton The full version of Your Man by Josh Turner. Any of these would be a great choice

Kimmy

I wanna hear an entire version of Your Man by Josh Turner. The mini was incredible but left me wanting more lol maybe a cute video of just you and Kathy doing it. Just an idea 😊

Laryn Ann Tapp

The Impossible Dream, My Way, Imagine, Bring Him Home from Les Miserable

Amanda Hovendon

Bring Him Home from Les Mis. 60 minute Man. You’ve Got A Friend in Me. Stars from Les Mis. One Piece At A Time by Johnny Cash

Amanda Hovendon

How about for a Halloween video, you did the opening song to Sweeney Todd….?

Jamie L

Jackie and Wilson by Hozier

Natalie Thompson

Motherless Child, I site the Harmonizing Four version with Thomas Ellis Johnson

Jeff_R

The Ballad of Casey Jones by Johnny Cash. Texas 1947 by Johnny Cash.

Mimi Nator

Truck Drivin Song by Weird Al 😁

Shirley B Karr

Tone-wise, I'd like something light and fun, a palate-cleanser after the we're-about-to-die-a-fiery-death video that is awesome but not exactly the equivalent of a summer beach read. For the algorithms, something that people are already searching for so they can experience your interpretation. I'd love to see your version of: ~ Stuck In The Middle With You by Stealers Wheel ("...clowns to the left of me, jokers to the right...") It could be so much fun with VP, or with Jeff, Goff, Jeoph, and Daryl. ~ Werewolves of London by Warren Zevon. ~ Your Man by Josh Turner. The mini with VP was just a tease. Include a cameo with Kathy because something magical happens when you're on-screen together, or you're looking at her off-camera. For the same reason, Shut Up & Dance With Me would be swoon-worthy and fun. ~A better-known Elvis/JD Sumner collaboration. Way Down is fabulous and it's almost criminal how few views it's getting.

Jamie L

Nearly Forgot My Broken Heart - Chris Cornell

Rnixon

Come Go With Me - The Del-Vikings

Rnixon

... also I'll second Weird Al's Truck Drivin' Song.

Amanda Paige

You know my number one request and vote continues to be for Your Man (a full solo version, not the mini version with the group. no offense to their awesomeness- but this song requires your awesomeness alone. sorry, not sorry- after all, the song title is Your MAN, not Your MEN.. unless those men are the 4 Geoffs of course. LOL). Also, I would LOVE to hear your take on Beauty and the Beast. (tale as old as time). I feel like that would be so unexpected and absolutely beautiful. I love when you do heartfelt ballads. Oh, who am I kidding, I love all your content, but I digress.

Jocelyn Carter

Music of the Night (Phantom of the Opera) Me and Bobby McGee (Kris Kristofferson) Deperado (The Eagles) The Gambler (Kenny Rogers) San Miguel (Kingston Trio although I dare say there are better versions out there.) I will worship you forever for this one because it’s not so well known but could be done SO beautifully. And just when I thought I might be done, my son pointed out all the songs that he and I have discussed would be so delightful to hear from you… Wellerman (Nathan Evans) The Chain (Fleetwood Mac) Toss a Coin to Your Witcher (Sonya Belousova)

Jen Fraley

Oh man! My Dad used to sing 16 Tons and El Paso to me. If he did that one it would bring such good vibes back into my life. El Paso's got my vote!

Alex Littman

I think it would be interesting to see you tackle something from RUSH, perhaps Tom Sawyer or Limelight. I would be curious to see how you would approach a song from a band whose singer has a notoriously high voice :)

Jen Fraley

In continuation of your Hobbit songs, I really want a "That's What Bilbo Baggins Hates!" but I think that might be more of a Voiceplay venture.

Maryse B

Extreme - More Than Words, Turn the page Metallica, Bang bang BLUES ROCK ( Kaleo), Kenny Roger song... Emerson, Lake & Palmer - C'est La Vie -1970, Harry Belafonte Banana Boat Song Day O

Jacan

I think you would do an awesome low bass version of Landslide by Fleetwood Mac

Frances Smith

They call the wind myria or I was born under a wandering star. Both from Paint your Wagon. Anything from Phantom of the Opera. Also Red Right Hand by Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds.

Norickamore

Ooh, I like the O, Death idea

Jill Knowles

Last Kiss - the Pearl Jam version could be a bit of cheesy goodness. Despite not being religious in the slightest, I have always loved the song Wayfarin' Stranger - opportunities for some amazing harmonies in that one.

Jill Knowles

Or The Trees, which is such an under rated so g of theirs.

Pokemasterflex

Hellfire from Hunchback of Notre Dame Music of the Night from Phantom

Shelbyyy

When I first heard (the other version) in Shrek I was literally blown away by the beauty and power of it. Holy schmeckles is Jeff even more so!! Plus; Jeff and Geoff, it’s kismet! Geoff^2, the Double Entendre, we can do something with it 😂😂 I hope he does even more now so you get that flood of memories ☺️❤️

Angie Woollard

Throw your audience for a complete loop and do Too Shy by Kajagoogoo. Or I Ran So Far Away by A Flock of Seagulls (complete with hairstyle).

Judy Wilde

Definitely Time in a Bottle. I’ve suggested that on in the past.

Shelbyyy

Now here’s left field but I really think you could do something extraordinary with it: Ulvetime by Songleikr. Lyfjaberg by Wardruna would be excellent too but it’s really long lol Little Talks by Of Monsters and Men holds a special place in my heart. These are more out-of-your-box suggestions. I’ll add as I think 🤔

Shelbyyy

MUSIC OF THE NIGHT YESSSS

Amanda Paige

Hellfire oh my gosh YESSSSS this would be amazing

Emily Dion

Some Otis Redding would be awesome, or some good ol Barry White

Sharon and Sean Harbour

Jacky - I still have all my Duran Duran albums from the 80’s, including a couple of Japanese editions that I got through mail order. 😁

Lis M

That would be brilliant as a VoicePlay song/mini. Layne would have too much fun with it, though. XD

Sue Armstrong

Oooh, I like the idea of Desperado!

Alex Sage

Omg that one would be SO good- holy shitttt-

Alex Sage

OH MY- IVE NEVER WANTED ANYTHING MORE

Mikki Fullerton

Oh man I dearly love 'Blunt the Knives'. It's a favorite...

Zena Darling

Would love love LOVE to hear your take on the St James Infirmary Blues! It's one of my favorite old "standards", and I think it would really suit your style of vocals/arrangement/etc. So much potential for that magic Geoff treatment!

J.L.

Hotel California by The Eagles. Yes, not exactly out there, but it would be awesome to see what you did with this haunting song, both audibly and visually.

Sue Armstrong

I'll add my vote to The Last Goodbye and Desperado(perfect for Daryl) and throw in my two cents for This Old House by Brian Setzer. Well, the song is a bit older than his version, but that's the one I'm familiar with.

AmbularD

I Believe In You would be amazing.

AmbularD

I'd love City of New Orleans.

AmbularD

How about Don't Let The Sun Go Down On Me?

AmbularD

Against the Wind

DebraD

Since you did Big Bad John, how about the follow up song Cajun Queen by Jimmy Dean?

Lisa Barr

“Everybody knows” (Leonard Cohen)

Danielle

(Don't Fear) the Reaper - Blue Öyster Cult, You Know My Name - Chris Cornell

Lynn M

Adding my voice to team Music of the Night from Phantom. After that Marty Robbins either King of the Road or El Paso. Randy Travis Diggin up Bones would be awesome. And my dark horse pick - Keith Whitley No Stranger to the Rain.

Suzy Bailey

As it's summer and after the sombreness of I See Fire, I'd kind of like something a little faster paced and fun. However, I'm also going to add my vote for a full solo version of 'Your Man', pretty please!

Lynn M

Edit: king of the road is Roger Miller, oops

Tal and Bard Lampner

For the record, you asked for this! Hope something on this list strikes your fancy! Jim Croce - Bad, Bad Leroy Brown Arlo Guthrie - City of New Orleans The Rolling Stones - Wild Horses The Eagles - Desperado Bon Jovi - Dead or Alive Kenny Loggins - House on Pooh Corner Marc Cohn - Walking in Memphis Sting - Fields of Gold Sting - Shape of My Heart Don McLean - Vincent Gary Moore - Over the Hills and Far Away Gary Moore - Thunder Rising Gordon Lightfoot - Wreck of the Edmund Fitzgerald Van Morrison - Into the Mystic Van Morrison - Moondance

Tara Congo

Yes please to Fields of Gold... Can't believe I forgot that one! That'd be amazing.

Ashley Evers

I would love to see you do Music of the Night, only replace all the angelic falsetto notes with glorious, rumbly bass notes 😁

Amanda Nott

I was thinking something from Prince reimagined for Geoff's voice could be really fun to listen to!

Jedijofo

my votes on Bon Jovi Dead or alive

Leisa S

That Old Black Magic Uptown Funk

Kara L Joy

I double vote for Walking in Memphis, one my all time favs, but my first choice would be Creep by Radiohead. Unless you've already done that one? Or go wild, Who Will Save Your Soul by Jewel could be fun, has an upbeat interesting bass line and a real singer/song-writer vibe so you could mix it anyway you wanted.

Tara Williamson

Fields of Gold! Moondance! Walking in Memphis!

Rose Arthur

Hellfire would be perfect! I've been wanting that for a while.

Jancie Sheppard

I’d love to hear your take on The Last Goodbye from the third Hobbit movie

DenVH

Alive, The Confrontation or anything from the Jekyll and Hyde musical with music by Frank Wildhorn? Or any musical with music by Frank Wildhorn, Frankenstein the musical could also be good, anything from there.

Or Nir

Sting - shape of my heart

Sarah Borzelli

Aristocats: Everybody wants to be a cat Tarzan: You’ll be in my heart Lee hazlewood, Nancy Sinatra - Summer Wine John Bon Jovi - Bed of Roses and OF COURSE I agree with a full solo version of 'Your Man' and The third Hobbit movie: The last Goodbye I'm convinced you could turn into gold pretty much any song (even an annoyingly boring, repetitive one with no bridge)

Diane Holland

I would like to hear some more upbeat music this time. Not that I don’t love everything you have released, but I love it when “Way on Down” plays on my play list. How about. . . . . . Here Comes the Sun by The Beetles I Tumble 4 U by Culture Club Send Me an Angel by Real Life If I Had a Million Dollars by Barenaked Ladies If I Could Turn Back Time by Cher Together Forever by Rick Astley I personally would love to hear Lady in Red by Chris De Burgh or They Call the Wind Maria from the movie Paint Your Wagon

Lori Templeman

That might actually cause a landslide! It would be fantastic as a low bass version!

Katherine Linkous

This might sound a little strange, but Can't Fight This Feeling Anymore by REO Speedwagon. Or perhaps City Song by Howard Jones.

Greta Petersen

Anything by lewis capaldi but especially someone you loved. Good song to show your voice. And if you are in the mood foe something uplifting how about rick astley never going to give you up or the one and only y chesney hawkes. All of them instantly earworms🤣

Katja Reinicke

Maybe a reaction to a reaction of your song? By Mortius or DJ_410? 😅

Sarah Borzelli

Oh, not a song suggestion but I would love to see a dancy and funny video along the lines of 'Way down' from you once again! 😍🕺

Veronica Thunander

Yes, Shut up and Dance with Me! Or is that more of a VoicePlay thing (awesome teaser in their Patreon commercial!)?

Alex Littman

ooh i can't believe I forgot about that one, it's one of my favorites, especially being one of the very few where Geddy wrote the lyrics. i whole heartedly support this

Lisa Lyons

How about something by Queen? "These are the days of our lives" comes to mind, or "Headlong"... Or "History has it's eyes on you" from Hamilton? Though, I think you would do a great job on "The room where it happens" too! OH!!! "Radioactive" by Imagine Dragons!!! My husband says "Silly Love Songs" by Wings...

Tören Renée

If you’re in the mood for an upbeat song - Teddy Bear by Elvis Presley.

Tören Renée

If you’re in the mood for a silly song - I Wanna Talk About Me by Toby Keith.

Tören Renée

If you’re in the mood for a love song - When I Fall in Love by The Lettermen.

Christian Luicke

Summmertime Sadness by Lana Del Rey would be very nice to hear

Hunter

He’d look good as an elf. Just saying. After the Bts for I See Fire, I’m like the silver ish hair…yep.

Karin Wolf

🫠oh yeah... up on one of those huge trees of Lothlorien... looking across a sea of trees towards the sea in the west... or standing on the beach just before stepping on the boat... CGI and Eli could make everything possible...let's see...

Gary Wagner

How about something completely different and go the classical route? I would love to hear Puccini's Nessum Dorum with your beautiful creative twist added to it.

Gary Wagner

Another thing I would love to hear you sing is Javert's "Stars" from the musical Les Miserables. The Norm Lewis version from the 25th Anniversary concert is fantastic but I know you could make it your own and amazing.

Dj_410

Billy Joel - The River Of Dreams <3

Gary Wagner

Just one more suggestion and I promise that is the last for now. "Never Enough" from the musical, "The Greatest Showman"

Natalie Thompson

I second Bad,Bad Leroy Brown and Wreck of the Edmund Fitzgeral

Natalie Thompson

Another vote for King of the Road. Also, Ac-cent-tchu-ate the Positive & On the Street Where you Live

Alex Sage

Omg that would sound so good!

Bill Frohnapfel

Birdhouse in You Soul - TMBG. Or anything else TMBG.

Christine Stromberg

I Iove the older songs you've done.. How about the Ink Spots. My Prayer.. Beautiful old song.

Ceilidh Elizabeth

How about "Summertime" from Gershwin's Porgy and Bess?

Diana and Doris Donnell

Hurt (Johnny Cash), Dance me to the end of love (Leonard Cohen), Red Right Hand (Nick Cave), Everybody wants to rule the world or Shout (Tears for Fears), Sympathy for the devil (Rolling Stones), any David Bowie song!!! everything you want to do is awesome!!!❤️

Cordelia Palmer

The full fifty minutes of "Tubular Bells."

Jacky Friedman

Voiceplay just did Toss a coin in a mini. Released it on Patreon a couple days ago.

Jacky Friedman

Geoff and Voiceplay both said absolutely not to hellfire.

Jacky Friedman

Yes definitely. Was my favorite in high school. I had a denim jacket that I embroidered mountains with a sun going down behind them. And the song title going around it. Got alot of compliments for it.

Jacky Friedman

Shout by tears for fears. Any David Bowie song. I second those votes✋

Lady D Richter

SHINE by Dolly Parton/Collective Soul. But IDK if that is better solo or as a group project

Jason Cranford

To throw my hat in the ring, I think you would crush Face It Alone, Queens latest "lost" song with Freddie on it.

Hannah Mallinson

Well, as you’ve done both Misty Mountains and I See Fire, I think it’s only fair that you finish the trilogy with Billy Boyd’s The Last Goodbye 💔

Diane Holland

One more suggestion. Sweet Child of Mine by Guns N Roses

candi lunsford

I’m thinking a little Marvin Gaye. Let’s Get It On would be awesome! I’m trusting you’ve already got The Last Goodbye on the YES list to finish out the Hobbit trilogy.

Ilona Dever

And the first time they would only show Elvis from the waist up....

Shirley B Karr

Little Red Riding Hood by Sam the Sham. (Tim has done it live with friends, but your version would be waaaay better.)

Lourdes Sanz

The Man of La Mancha , The impossible dream, Suspicious Minds, something from Les Miserables

Lourdes Sanz

The Man of La Mancha , The impossible dream, Suspicious Minds, something from Les Miserables

Kess Rutland-Edwards

Higher - Micheal buble would be amazing to do in a lower key.

Katherine Linkous

The Rose, Bette Midler sang that back in the movie of the same name.

Crazy CatLady

The Impossible Dream from Don Quixote :-)

Relvinian

Light my Fire -- the Doors.

SunnyOutlook

Cats in the Cradle by Harry Chapin, Did You Hear the Rain by George Ezra, The Edmund Fitzgerald by Gordon Lightfoot, Sitting on the Dock of the Bay by Otis Redding

Morgoth

Toss a coint to your Witcher

C

Anything barbershop-style.

Kimberley McKenzie

Not a very well known song but one of my dads favourite song was Camoflage by Stan Ridgeway. If you havnt heard it give it a listen. I've always loved it because of my dad and think it would sound really good with your amazing bass

Beth Comer

I will never not ask for a cover of Song To The Siren, by Tim Buckley, while I am also equally resigned to the fact that it will almost certainly never happen. Still, I believe quite firmly that you would melt the internet with that refrain. But I could be biased. (I also think you'd melt the internet with Wintersleep's Listen [Listen, Listen], which is another absolutely gorgeous- but largely unknown- song. Admittedly, there is a lot less space for harmonization in that one, so maybe not... though I'd still pay to hear you sing it.) Or you could return to John Denver, with Sunshine On My Shoulder. Or for something a little more modern, Blue Ridge Mountains by Fleet Foxes could also be fun. Lots of room to play with harmonies there.

Janet Towles

Holes in the Floor of Heaven

Metaz

I always wondered how "In the ghetto" (Elvis for those who don't know) would sound from a bass vocalist.

Denaliland

Sunday Barbecue Tennessee Ernie Ford for fun? or Sundown by Gordon Lightfoot , the entire Python Lullaby from Jungle Book

Karen Grace

I'll second, third and fourth this one!

Cordelia Palmer

"In the Dark of the Night" from "Anastasia."

Randiskye

I'll cast a vote for "Cats in the Cradle". Good luck with any Gordon Lightfoot (he's already said he's not interested in doing that song).

Cynthia Ross

I’d love to hear you do an original. Failing that, A Kiss From a Rose by Seal?

Jen

Hallelujah, Chasing Cars, Say Something, Fix You…you’d be amazing at anything Snow Patrol or Coldplay.

Anna Marie Stewart

Alway sung as a duet or with backup. Can’t find anyone that did it solo. You could!!

Jacky Friedman

That was beautiful. I love her voice.

Rebekah45

I would do anything for love by meatloaf

Cayden

Darkness by Disturbed

Nathan E

I’d love to hear your take on amazing grace. I think your voice would go so well with that song

John Racela II

Thought I would add in… “Greensleeves”

Karen Grace

I've got a brain full of music, singing, playing, and listening, but when put on the spot my brain goes...uhhhhhh....... "Truck driving song" would be fun, but you'd need to dress the part, lol. Mr. Blue Sky would be cool too because of it's wide range. Might even be room for Daryl. "I'm in a hurry" could be for just you or the whole group. One request for VoicePlay... "When the children cry" by White Lion.

Scott Boa

Barrett's Privateers by Stan Rogers. It would be perfect for your low, basement notes.

Dylan Reubenking

Not sure if this has been recommended before, but every time I hear Way Down We Go by KALEO, I always think it'd be a perfect song for your voice/artistic style

artem perre

The hunchback Of Notre Dame - Hellfire

Georgia

Romeo and Juliet by Dire Straits (or anything by Tears for Fears). You could even do a cover of Brothers in Arms!

Amanda Paige

i don’t think any of us would survive if he did this in a kilt.. *cough *OUTLANDER VIBES *cough*

Virginia Small

How about something from the third Hobbit movie? The Last Goodbye?

Candace Berg

I'd love to hear you do Everybody Hurts by R.E.M. my best friend's little brother was struggling with depression for a while and unfortunately we lost him on May 22nd and I've been listening to it a lot lately. I think your smooth vocal style and beautiful harmonies would be perfect for it.

Mimsically

Music of the Night.../sagenod

SunnyOutlook

Can’t blame a girl for trying and suggesting The Wreck of the Edmund Fitzgerald. LOL!

Frances Smith

There are a number of songs from Porgy and Bess you could sing. Voiceplay could do a mix from Porgy and Bess.

Frances Smith

Bring Him Home , to me, is one of the most beautiful songs. It is also high tenor but with your talent, I am sure you could make it amazing!

Frances Smith

Nights in white satin would be brilliant

Frances Smith

With your love for Kathy, I only have eyes for you would be beautiful. Art Garfunkel’s version of this 40’s song is so beautiful. Your take would be beautiful as well.

Frances Smith

I can see the Les Miz songs also great for Voiceplay.

Frances Smith

I really hope you read through all the suggestions

Katie D

Very late addition, because nothing came to mind until now, but I'd love to eventually see what you could do with "Vermilion Part 2" or "Snuff," both by Slipknot. (For anyone unfamiliar with these songs, they have no screaming and are quite beautiful and ballad-like)

Jacky Friedman

I Ran was and is a cool song. Loved Flock of Seagulls. Had their album and loved every Song on it.

Jacky Friedman

Creep is this months video. Absolutely beautiful.

Gayle Waitman

Wrong side of heaven - by 5finger death punch. Cheers!

candi lunsford

Remember sung by Josh Groban as the credits rolled for the movie Troy. I bet Cesar could do the background wailing.

Helen Harrison

Solsbury Hill - Peter Gabriel. Heard it today and think you would nail this one

Helen Harrison

Don’t fear the Reaper - Blue Oyster Cult would be another good one

Katherine Linkous

Okay, sorry I keep adding, but I keep remembering songs of my past,,, Annie's Song by John Denver...more for Valentine's day. But how about American Pie and Starry Starry Night by Don McLean? Mainly would be the whole group, but you all know how best to approach these ideas.

Hunter

I chuckle at the the thought of Frankenstein The Musical…Geoff lived his life as Frankie for ten years. I don’t think he’d be up to doing it again lol

DenVH

He was Frankenstein’s Monster, not Victor Frankenstein. Different character

Hunter

Mmmm Mmmm Mmmm - Crash Test Dummies (Because I just love to hear you hum ;) )

Lori

Black Water by Doobie Brothers, The First Cut is the Deepest by Cat Stevens, Human by Rag N’ Bone Man, Someone You Loved by Lewis Capaldi

Lori

Starry, Starry Night would be great!

Andrea Oliver

Plus it's a great sing along, shanty style song. With the exception of Hoist The Colors, we haven't heard you put your spin on the style. So much fun!

Andrea Oliver

I never thought of this... Nice choice.

Maggie Nystrom

Please do something fun and funny. I have loved what you did recently but it has all been so serious.

Christine Stromberg

I have another idea. Whispering Grass originally by the Ink Spots. I've also heard Tom Jones do it, and a version from Don Estelle, from an old comedy show he was in. I can just imagine your high and low voices in this one, and of course the speaking part which Tom Jones didn't do.

Ally

Anything Bon Jovi or Music of the Night.

Denaliland

Creedence Clearwater Revival - Bad Moon Rising

Candace Berg

Oooh that would be great. Honestly anything from C.C.R. would be amazing. I love them so much.

Candace Berg

I second Human by Rag N' Bone Man

Candace Berg

Another one I just thought of is I Feel Like I'm Drowning by Two Feet

Denaliland

Yes! but with better diction lol

Kraken Artificer

I had no idea. I'll have to go listen to that again, with that context in mind

Kraken Artificer

Honestly, anything by Stan Rogers. I think his style would fit really well with Geoff's voice

Randiskye

"There's a bathroom on the right." LOL!!

Randiskye

This would sound awesome!!

Denaliland

Yes! One of the best mondegreens ever!

Jacob Tipple

Hallelujah, plain and simple.

Heather S

I'd love to see The Lion Sleeps Tonight - either you on your own or with voice play!

Frances Smith

The lion sleeps tonite for voiceplay

Zak Hulena

Hallelujah you should do!

Angie McDougle-Curl

Something fun.. Something more recent. Mix it up a bit. 🤷🏻‍♀️

Virginia Small

How about Happy Boy by the Beat Farmers? I dare ya. 🤣

Amy Leigh

What about something by Frank Sinatra or The Music of the Night

Angie Woollard

A late, late, late suggestion, but I was recently thinking about how you could make Black Hole Sun by Soundgarden even awesomer.

Christian Luicke

"When I See An Elephant Fly" in Barbershop Style😏 Like Vocal Spectrum

Crisstina Joubert

'Walking in Memphis' - Marc Cohn. A great song would be even better with a -G Spin!

Shirley B Karr

Another late suggestion... "My First, My Last, My Everything" by Barry White. "You're my sun, my moon, my guiding star My kind of wonderful, that's what you are" You tend to avoid love songs but I can picture you singing this to Kathy, who would be just off camera. The song is a bit dusty so maybe it would be like Way Down -- fabulous but generally undiscovered by those who aren't already your fan. I'm guessing your Patreon members would absolutely melt into a puddle of goo, and then have the fun of watching reactors like DJ-410 have a meltdown, too. Maybe it wouldn't be commercially successful. But maybe you'd sing it to Kathy, even without making a video?

Amber Dilts

My song knows what did in the dark. Is an amazing song to do

Christine Stromberg

Something that came to me this morning for no apparent reason was The Hollies : The Air That I Breathe. Beautiful song. I know it was written and performed previously but The Hollies version is the one that was huge here in the UK. Though as it is similar in chord progression and some melodic content to Creep it may not be the way you'd want to go.

Gargoyle Kitten

I would ADORE a cover of Unforgettable (Nat King Cole) by you (or VP! Lol). I also adore the song "orange colored sky" by him that I think you could have a blast with creatively (both musically and theatrically).

The Indie Game Alliance

I still want to see you, Tim and Avi do parody lyrics to Friends in Low Places and sing Friends with Low Basses together. ;) I've got friends with low basses; when our voices drop, then the shocked faces are on display - they don't know what to say... Reactors think that we're demonic when we vibrate the ground with our subharmonics; yeah, I've got friends with low basses...

Metaz

What I really would love to see is a collaboration with the Bass Gang! :D

Angie McDougle-Curl

I wanna hear something like, "Ain't No Rest For The Wicked" by Cage the Elephant. :-)

Lisa Lyons

Given the sad news of Randy Meisner's death, how about something from the Eagles? Desperado or Take it Easy?

Anne Marie Mallette

Chris de Burgh. You do storytelling songs so well and so many of his earlier works that I am familiar with are stories. I can't think of one you wouldn't slay.

Leah Hanson

The Chemical Worker's Song (Process Man)

Paula Jordan

Angel Eyes by Jeff Healey band. Please ???????????
