For those of you that are interested, the numbers definitely got bigger this year. Any guesses as to what the MOST streamed song was?

EDIT: Sixteen Tons was the MOST streamed song of 2023. Who knew?!

Well, I'm on Amazon Music, which I don't recommend, but it shows your top songs there, and 16 Tons has been on top the entire time, so I am going to guess the same for Spotify. Also, don't we still have all of December to go? 🤣 ETA: and CONGRATS on the growth, you deserve it!

Misty Mountains. Not because it's way better than Way Down (it's not!) but because that one gets the most YT views. I use YT rather than Spotify, and the song I listen to the most is probably Ghost Riders. There's just something about the Yippee-i-o chorus that gives me a dopamine hit. Every. Single. Time.

The most popular song is Misty Mountains Cold... I really like this song, it rocks me and soothes me... and it’s a very beautiful song with a very beautiful harmony... With vocalise behind her it’s super beautiful! Otherwise there’s Sixteen Tons that aired the most as well as I See Fire that aired in less than a month of 1 M... Geoff, I remember that song you made a short story saying it was huge in a month ^^ If not all my congratulations for what you do ^^ Really! The Spotify Wrapped is generated by Spotify for the calendar year, in this case, 2023. So "Sixteen Tons" continues to be his top streaming song, even after being out for 2 years (almost 3, since it was out in Jan-2021).

I'm not surprised -- 16 Tons is a fabulous song, with the visual or audio-only. Hours after Spotify sent out their lists, YouTube sent theirs. My Top 4 groups were Geoff, VoicePlay, Home Free, and The Bass Gang. (No surprise -- I'm guessing there's a lot of crossover in those fandoms. I like deep voices and I cannot lie.) My Top 5 songs were Ghost Riders, Oogie Boogie's Song, and three other Geoff solos. Puts me in the top .04% of Geoff's listeners.

Dear Geoff, This year 2023 has been a magical year with you... I look at you every day, you calm me with your sweet and beautiful voice and the bass voice that is nice to hear too... And to be here, to be a patron... frankly it’s too great! I don’t regret And also something to add: when I was in a very important crisis of my Tourette syndrome, I watch your videos and I sing at the same time with subtitles... and little by little it soothes me and then I feel calm... Unfortunately, I am not good in English and I do not remember everything I learned at school because I was seriously mentally ill, I had hallucinations... I had to relearn everything, the basics of life: to eat, wash, go to the toilet, sleep and dress... I had to relearn to go out too... I had to learn to take the bus, tram etc... in short! That’s why I forgot everything I learned in school because of this delirium that caused me to sequelae... And if I dive to remember my studies, it makes me have seizures... so I can’t learn... and I want to remember... I suffer a lot and I am ashamed because your fans here are good in English, can understand what you say like Chaturday and it hurts me... Sorry! On the other hand what is great is that thanks to your songs and subtitles in French, I learn English little by little... Although I am hypermemory... dates, situations and details of my memories... it would be nice to be hypermemory in English because it is a language that everyone learns... Whereas before I was very good in English... fortunately there are subtitles where there is the translation of my language... That’s why I have a translator on my computer that can be a headache for me because it makes me weird sentences and I spend a lot of time correcting...
