Ok, so not a narrative based game like those in this episode, but all the FMV talk reminded me of one of my favorite hidden gems. The game Contradiction. It’s an FMV mystery game where you gather clues from interviewing people and try to catch them in a contradiction as you gather more evidence. It’s point and click adjacent but not in the traditional sense. The game is very goofy in a good way. The performances are hammed up, but low key some genuinely good performances for what they are going for. Would love to see at least one cohort try the game out, maybe stream it or even just talk about it. Never heard a podcast mention the game before.

Hailey and Janet, I cannot recommend As Dusk Falls enough. Ending of the whole thing is admittedly weak, but the game is so good
