Seems like Jun is keeping a watchful eye for when Chihaya can surface from the pool without getting caught. But it looks like Chihaya is nearing her limits here

Jun and Chiaya ! <3 also, amazing how she looks with empty eyes ! waaaaaaaaaa ! <3

melangalade

she is just going for the Chi kiss of life, smart :3

Ah, that vacant stare is always nice to see.

Some concrete times would be helpful, to know whether or not Chihaya let herself slip after the match with Saki. She’s also not that deep, so I’m surprised all her bubbling hasn’t alerted anyone else she’s down there. If her training continues, I think we should have Jun signal that Chihaya needs to hide, rather than give her the all-clear. Imagine if a group of girls were about to get into the water. About the only place the cousin could go would be to the bottom of the deep tank. She could definitely make the trip down, but the question is whether she makes the trip up after already being so deprived.

Will Chihaya pass out? No way 🥺 This could be interesting.. Yun must kiss her ❤️

It must have been seven or eight minutes at this point, so she’s probably getting a little desperate. Hypoxia is soon to follow. Imagine how she’ll look if she gets the “hide” signal rather than the “surface” signal. She’ll have to start rebreathing non-oxygenated air.

What are they doing? Is Jun testing Chihaya's limits?

When Chihaya starts to feel the urge to breathe, she comes out of her deep cylinder and waits for Jun’s cue. Jun will make sure the premises are clear before letting her new friend come up for air. :)

How did Chihaya deal with this before she met Jun?

You know, for a pool, even one that’s specifically for diving, there’s not that many swimmers in it. I still think the best way to escalate the situation and test Chihaya’s willpower is to send her back down. Aya and Saki certainly wouldn’t back down from the challenge, and have even had similar encounters before (Saki in “The Beautiful Prey” comes to mind). Also, shouldn’t Chihaya’s “urge” to breathe be more of a suggestion than a command at this point?
