Oh my god I just got the parallels - Jun is an incredible diver ABOVE the water, while Chihaya is an amazing diver BELOW the water. No wonder they hit it off so well! 😮

Looks like Chihaya will not only be a diver in one then one way XD

I don't know why Jun was so unmotivated. After seeing Chihaya's free diving abilities, Jun doesn't seem interested in free diving. When will we see Chihaya instructing Jun in free diving?

Midnightfox051

oh yes Chihaya is looking very fascinated and want directly to try it too

Do we need to? I’m of the opinion that not every girl in the series needs to be excellent, or even decent, at Freediving. It kind of dilutes the talent if anyone is able to learn to be just as good as Chihaya, Aya, or Saki. If we are going that route I’d at least like better male representation too. Personally, I think Jun could be just as good up on the boat monitoring the other girls while they’re below.

You mean like how Toko and Mito could be able to make a 5 minutes breath holds with little training? As yeah if most characters are able to do that makes Chihaya achievements in the first story. Not seem that great over all as “if everyone is special no one is”

Of course, Chihaya, Aya, and Saki are special. Saori, Toko and Mito, their training times is still short, I think Their current level is at most equal to Chihaya at the end of 'Diving Girls', far inferior to Aya at the same time. And their final ceiling should not exceed Eri, after all, Eri is a hard trained elite diver from Japan Maritime Self-Defense Force.
