An embrace between mermaids is a wonderful thing :)

Why was Misty in a sunken ship in her regular outfit? Wouldn’t a wetsuit or swimsuit work better here? And if it was a cruise ship that went down, you could have still had her in her swimsuit with the excuse that she was lounging by the pool.

I think that this most likely is a drawing related to an alternative version of that old Pokémon episode. Where the gang gets struck on a cruise ship that is sinking. I remember watching it growing up. Like the previous picture of Misty pulling on the door handle or being near it. Is what the episode showed/imagined Ash do if he went to try and leave the ship without coming up with a plan.

I know. I’m just disappointed she’s not in a swimsuit. Her bikini designs were always a treat whenever they showed up in the anime. She and May had the best looking styles in my opinion. It was a shame that the only episodes Misty went underwater for any serious amounts of time in were Mantine Overboard and The Misty Mermaid.
