Nintendo discussion
happy fire emblem week, anyone know where i can find the translated prequel manga and apparent ongoing manga mirroring the game?
not sure why nintendo isn’t officially translating a game with a majority POC cast, one of successes in the mobile game space, and ofc the huge hit that was three houses, but anyway: https://mangadex.org/title/2f829f19-059e-41ed-b2af-73d9b64bf9ed/fire-emblem-banshisenkou

ppl seem really spoiler sensitive about this game, to be clear I don’t actually know anyhting so i can’t spoil anything, but here are some extended thoughts: https://bsky.app/profile/raisinbman.bsky.social/post/3mvnebq4rhk2t

https://intsys.shop/ wow, intelligent systems has an entire shop now!
this might be US specific, but who’da thunk you could use a “banana cheat code” and it NOT be related to some sort of donkey kong promotion https://www.dexerto.com/gaming/nintendo-fans-are-buying-bananas-to-get-cheaper-games-at-walmart-3410274/
pokemon fans are constantly tortured - they live on the precipice of hype and mediocrity - which is this i wonder?
I believe there are credible rumours of pokemon RSE coming to switch in some capacity, from the same person who leaked about FRLG
I was kicking myself before as o thought I’d missed some great prices. Argos seems to be cancelling the orders some sort of price error mistake
if you thought the hype for metroid was overblown, you may want to secure a physical copy if that’s your thing - metroid dread is sold out and i’m sure scalpers’ collective dander is up by now. Who knew a trailer, and possibly the passing over silksong hype (apparently the OG is somehow the best selling metroidvania? Can’t say I knew that prior) might actually get Samus primed for her Silver Screen closeup. This seems to be US-based, but again, looking forward for physical Ravenous copies may have to be on your radar….
Does this also mean Dread Switch 2 edition? Amiibo expanded support?
ubisoft was in talks to make a ganondorf-led zelda game before it fell thru
update: wild arms successor cancelled, this apparently involves the tendrils of a crypto company, a court case, and a DOUBLE KICKSTARTER FOR A SHADOW HEARTS SUCCESSOR THEY HAVENT SAID ANYTHING ABOUT DESPITE CANCELLING THE WILD ARMS SUCCESSOR

https://www.mothership.blog/fire-emblem-fortunes-weaves-most-unexpected-pair-is-a-fascinating-tangle-of-sex-and-gender/ - ppl are fairly spoiler sensitive, not sure if that remains true, but i’ll keep my commentary to a minimum unless others would like to

The Super Mario Bros 3 Any%/Warpless Record got broken, as Finnish runner Saakali became only the 4th person to break the 50 minute barrier.
Insane last two levels.
Kettle on, Ben! (L)
