I can't believe they put Godzilla Mius One on Netflix with little to no fanfare, bloody awesome movie!Anyway this month's waffle was recorded the day before that happened so you'll have to put up with us being a little out of touch (nothing new there anyway!)This month it's mostly about crappy airlines, movies and which foods work best for orgies - enjoy!

Cane and Rinse

The monthly is always named for the month just gone!

Mark Hoogland

I gotta check out that Sparklehorse doc! Good Morning Spider is one of my favourite albums of all time (It's a Wonderful Life is great too - I doubt Tom Waits is in the doc though).

Tolkientaters

I gotta correct you on the Lindsay Ellis Hobbit videos, there are three not two.

Lee Davies

I had a version of Godzilla that was given away on the Guardian sometime around 2005. I think it was subtitled, but it was a long time ago

Alex79

Amazing travel story, Leon. It's the sort of thing Dave Gorman would have built an entire stand-up tour around 😆

Jambon

I suspect Mr Walken probably enjoys a nice cock-a-leekie

alastair macgregor

I have the Criterion Godzilla Show era collection and has the original 54 on it

Alex79

Gazpacho soup. I'm hoping you've completely forgotten why this comment is relevant by next month when you read it out 😆

TomRed89

I thought the Walken voice was pretty good!

Simply hearing Leon’s description of his little adventure on the way to Morocco made me exhausted 🥵 Also, Jay knowlegeably explaining he would never have broccoli and Stilton soup at an orgy with absolute sincerity will live with me forever 🙏🏻

Hello Leon and Jay, just to give you an update about the topic of buying physical media that was discussed several months ago. My son was born yesterday (28/06/2024), one day after the release of Luigi’s Mansion 2 HD. For this child, I bought a gray switch lite, along with the following games: Tears of the Kingdom, Smash Ultimate, Ori Collection, Mario Odysee, Paper Mario AND Hollow Knight!!! I hope that the handheld will be working and these games will still be relevant 20 years from now.

Echoing Cormoran Strike, writing this on the 11th July seems somewhat redundant for a May podcast, however I'm hugely aware that the voluntary/ Herculean task this podcast entails is very relevant to the delay....(Jesus, that sounded like the episode of Friends where Joey discovers a Thesaurus, I don't talk like that normally...) My naturally damaged memory tells me this was the episode that Jay introduced me to Mr In-between and I couldn't be more grateful. You didn't make a big deal out of it, with more high profile, genre -led stuff taking the lead, (understandably, love that cack as much as anyone), but bloody hell it's good. THANKS. Also, on fear of stirring nerds (I'm one of you!) ....Come on England!😬

Cane and Rinse

Sure but it was released on 6th June, just a few days after May, and we talk about all the stuff we watched and played and podcasted about in May. If it was a preview show we'd call it for the upcoming month! 😉
