As a young teen playing games like RC Pro-AM, Slalom, Cobra Triangle and Snake Rattle'N Roll, branded with "Rare Coin-It" on their title or introduction screens, I took note of that name being associated with games that seemed a cut above many others on the NES, on a technical level (tying in with some of the discussion in this). Of course, as Ultimate, the company was also very instrumental in pioneering that very striking faux 3D isometric look, on the ZX Spectrum.

I remember this game. I quickly gave up on the story mode and ended up just playing some multiplayer vs bots. Always on the same desert town map. My dad somehow grinded out all achievements for this game. Very respectable

One of those sequels that didn't come close to the levels of it's predecessor. This title and the dreaded Dino Crisis 3 are burned into my memory for all the wrong reasons.

This is a game I never played, but frequently saw in used game shops back in the 360 era - never knew the history of the franchise, so this was a great listen. I am especially keen to see how the new Perfect Dark is because the trailer they released in summer was really interesting. On a side note, I have really enjoyed some of the episodes this year dealing with some lesser praised games like X-Men Origins. One of the reasons I love this show is that you can have a crew discuss games of a,l types and get some insightful conversation out about them.
