Cane and Rinse

Before anyone mentions the number, we know, just a bit of juggling episodes to fill the gap left by moving Black Myth

Leon's story about calling up US GOLD and getting the programmers on the phone was hilarious and heartwarming lol

FYI all there’s a proper Gauntlet cab at Arcade Club, Leeds, where I visited for the first time over the weekend (amazing), also a Bezerk

Different times.

Gauntlet The Third Encounter may not be worth going back to for an episode of the show, but definitely worth getting your hands on a ROM to check out for a while. I always had fun playing it on my Lynx back in the day, and I didn’t feel it was a major break from the core Gauntlet gameplay outside of the weird characters to choose from.

Loved your little tale about calling US Gold Leon. I contacted ZA/UM this year as my copy of Disco Elysium won't load. Someone actually got back to me but only told me to uninstall/install. Of course I told them I've already done that and I've not heard anything since. I only played Gauntlet a few times on a mates Spectrum. In my memory it had amazing graphics and gameplay, but I was quite young. I'm going to look up some screenshots.
