Literally one person requested this podcast, so here it is. How's that for service? In our latest Castlevania series podcast, we land on the late OG Game Boy offering, Castlevania Legends. Leon, Brian, Leah and Ryan - along with contributors from the community - ask just why this prequel was eradicated from the canon, never to be restored.Music featured in this issue:1. Ah the greatest handheld Castlevania of all time! 👀 Well, until the GBA games came out. Just occured to me actually, shame we've not had a real modern version come out along the lines of Metroid Dread. I'd snap one up. Hell, I'd be happy with a straight up port of SOTN on Switch too.

I much prefer the team covers obscure games like this with a interesting history than another game show where people talk about Skyrim, so good on you all. This sounds like a game I would try if I had access to it as part of a bundle but not something I would put in effort to play.

I’m very new to Castlevania, having only played Circle of the Moon on the Advance collection ; I gave this a go on my new shiny Nintendo Switch Online subscription. I guess I found it somewhat boring? That and some frustrating jumps (very annoying too that it’s not okay to just jump down screens, you must climb down the ropes). Pretty cool to have a female lead though. And my brain broke down a bit when I realized this was released after Symphony of the Night. 🤯 Looking forward to see how you get 90mn of discussion out of that one :D
