We debated whether or not to dig into Castlevania's three-dimensional escapades. In the end the ayes had it and so here we are, with 1999's Castlevania@ Legacy of Darkness (including its predecessor that isn't called Castlevania 64. Leon, Brian, Chris Worthington, Leah and Patreon posters postulate on Konami Kobe's first and second attempts at turning the resolutely side-on world of Demon Castle Dracula into polygons.Music featured in issue:1. First the Time Crisis, gyro controls prediction by Leon, and now the Castlevania prediction. Can you guys do another Half Life 2 episode sometime soon so we can get a half life 3 announcement?

Hadn’t thought of this game much since I picked up the first on N64 when it released and was disappointed by it. I may have this in a ROM collection on a hard drive so after hearing you guys talk about it maybe it’s time for a second look at least.

I have loved listening to the Castlevania episodes - it’s a massive blind spot for me. It really sounds like this game is a proto Devil May Cry 1. Would be very intrigued to give this a go.
