Been feverishly waiting for this one, looking forward to the listen. Also really loved Matt McMuscles' "What Happened" video on this game that went into its development and aftermath, if people are wanting even more.

I pretty much agreed with everything stated. Plus there was a Sonic hedgehog type costume?!? Never even knew.

I somehow was never aware of that one until the volume reveal. I would have dismissed it for his abysmal Metacritic score, but watching the trailer it looks like something that might be fun in couch co-op with the kid? I’ll listen to the show before heading to the eShop :)

Finally, Cane and Rinse has mentioned Yuji Naka is a criminal! So long have we suffered through Sonic games mediocre, and it is because they were spawned from an impure mind!

Been very excited for this episode and it has not disappointed. I bought this when GameStop was closing down in Ireland, so it was 50% off. Cost me a grand total of €2. When I discovered the inability to jump with certain costumes, I noped out and never returned. It’s sort of fascinating in that this game seems to be held back by a multitude of frustrating design decisions that bundled together just make for a bad experience.

Hmm, okay, does not sound like the sort of experience I want to subject my offspring to. ^_^" (I see it’s available at my library though, so it’s probably worth a borrow and a few hours)
