This episode sucked. Low-hanging fruit for my Kirby joke tonight. Appreciate the great work, everyone!

Was not expecting to hear Kirby compared to Bayonetta and Witch time. Keep up the amazing podcasts and work y’all do.

Before even finishing the episode I headed to the eShop to try out the demo − and then went through it again in co-op with my kid who loved it. We got the game from the library and have now played a couple of hours. I think it’s a fantastic co-op. Obviously he plays as Kirby and has a great time with the powers and Mouthful Mode (such glee the first time he transformed into a car!) ; but I’m fine as the sidekick − I still get to do actual stuff, like taking care of enemies in the arena fights and of the bosses while he spams bombs in the wrong direction. Life ain’t so bad as a Waddle Dad!

…and we probably have to order a Kirby plushie now.
