As the industry (and us) gets older, the anniversaries get larger. Konami's famous Frogger celebrates its 45th birthday, so we celebrate with the hydrophobic hopper. Leon, Brian, Jesse and Sean - along with some arcade memories from the community - discuss the apocryphal legend of this simple single-screen action game, try to understand why it endures, and even the mating habits of amphibians - in this especially silly podcast.Music featured in this issue:1. Enjoyed the show as always. Before listening I'd had PS1 Frogger in my head as a game I remembered playing years and years ago and thinking it was more fun than it should have been, but when you mentioned Swampys Revenge it unlocked a memory and I realised it was that game that I'd got fond memories of! I really can't remember if I ever bought the full game or just played the first few levels on a demo disc, but for some reason the game is firmly lodged in my memory as a game I enjoyed back in the day.

I'll admit that I was curious how you would manage to keep a podcast about Frogger interesting for two hours. Suffice to say that you four rose to the challenge and smashed it out of the park! Pretty sure I've now listened to more minutes of a podcast *about* Frogger than actually playing it. Seems I need to rectify that asap.

“Flogger” sounds like one of those more risque Atari games from back in the day, Leon.

Man the last time I played Frogger it must have been the 80s. I remember being young and playing on an Atari. Good times but man I remember this game being hard! Great episode as always guys!
