Love the new Spider-Man film! And seeing the Punisher on the big screen in the MCU was a treat. I also would love an office like Yelena’s office.

Happy about the Possession love; one of my all time favourites! Can't remember if it has been mentioned before but I thought Undertone was great under the radar horror movie, probably my favourite horror movie this year just behind Obsession. Couldn't get on with Backrooms, maybe it lands better if you are already invested in the youtube series it is a part of.

nando

Easy mistake to make but Offerman was on Parks & Rec, not Community

On the Star Wars diminishing returns chat. I know it’s not movies, but Maul was incredible, as is the new Ninth Jedi so check those out as I think you will really like them. I know am in the minority but I really enjoyed the Mando film for what it was.

The Jerry Goldsmith slander on this podcast is criminal.

Great show again. Only thing, and it’s my own fault, I got in the car after visiting a customer at work and the car was about 25°C so I rolled the window down just as my phone connected with my car and Jay came on in the midst of a fuckin’ sweary cuntin’ rant. The lady walking past looked bemused. Anime is one of those genres where I have absolutely knocked my pan in trying to enjoy it. I used to see my cousin watching DBZ and Gundam Wing back in the day and I was interested. He showed me GITS (🤭) and I thought it was cool. Tried to watch several different things, most recently was AOT when it first started and just lost interest quickly as I do with all of them. The last anime I can really say I enjoyed was Grave of the Fireflies. Fantastic film. Also, I was going to get into the age old Scottish football debate and how we NEVER get bored of winning… but Hearts and Rangers just got knocked out of the Europa League and will have to qualify for the conference league. So, never mind, we’re pish. 😆

Do tell us more about your deplorable friend Simon and the disgusting things he showed you, Leon!

Alex79

Great show as always. Totally agree about Cape Fear, I thought it was terrible by the end. I'm not sure you can really stretch a film out over ten hours regardless of how much you change it (mind you, I'm not much of a fan of the 1991 film in the first place). I thought this series was a real stinker, though.

Alex79

Same here. Took my youngest to watch Spider Man and we really enjoyed it!

Last week, my boy had his friends over for his yearly multiple day spanning garden camping sleepover birthday party and every night we put up the projector outside and watched one of the HollandSpider-man films (which at least he and I had never seen) in order of release. Then last Sunday, we went and watched the new one in the theater. I was thoroughly entertained and it might just be the best one out of the bunch for me.

Retrogamer1138

ALIEN. Or as I wanted to say in the moment "Ehhhh-Leeee-Ennnn!"

Retrogamer1138

Great chat, as always. Sounds like Possession is on my short list now, as well as The Drama. Great to hear that the new Spiderman gets a gold star from Leon, too.

I went to my local Blackwells to pickup Tower Dungeon on Jay’s recommendation. I checked on the website that they had it in store before I left. When I arrived, they didn’t have it, but said I could order it to pickup within 24hrs. I got my notification and when I went to pick it up, it wasn’t there or they couldn’t find it. Can totally relate to the anticipation of starting a new read only to be twunted by computer - twice.

Cormoran Strike

For anyone interested in deadzone rogue, it's currently on a 40% discount on PSN! (and 50% on steam)

Jobobonobo

Cheers for the strategy RPG recommendations Leon! I have a PS4 and a 3DS XL so both FF Tactics and Tactics Ogre remakes are available for me to try out. Will pop them on the "to try" list when a sale is on.

Lucas Harris

I totally freaked out when Leon mentioned me! I was at work listening and it got me by surprise! I was like wow, they’ve read the stuff I wrote? That’s awesome! This podcast totally made my day🙂.

Cane and Rinse

Thanks for all your input, Lucas - it is appreciated.

Lucas Harris

As long as you keep making em I’ll keep listening! Thank you for all of the great work!
