Access Software had landed an unexpected hit in Under A Killing Moon but by 1996 the FMV boom had begun to bust and it was into this environment that its sequel The Pandora Directive was released. Chris Worthington, Brian, James and Ryan consider whether they feel that this “bigger and better” Tex Murphy is rightly acclaimed as one of the genre’s greats.Music featured in this issue:1. Knocked it out of the park again. Balanced panel and agree with James that Tex’s Jello isn’t for everyone but if it is you’re in for a great time. I’ve also got to echo Chris’s sentiment that Under a Killing Moon may be creeping close to the top of the list. Overseer next year right? Chris and Brian to go on the charm offensive and recruit a 3rd member for the panel.
