Leon and Jay return with a month and a bit's worth of Cane and Rinse podcast feedback (both good and bad), plus 'what we've been playing' talk of Marvel's Spider-Man, Forza Horizon 4, FIFA 19, and talk on the value of Microsoft's Game Pass and Sony's PlayStation Plus subscription services. The duo also look ahead to what new titles they are hyped about enough to pick up at release during the remainder of 2018.

Don’t know if it’s been pointed out yet but Cory Barlog said there were no plans for GoW DLC and that the missing realms so to speak were a teaser for upcoming games rather than cut content. However, he admitted that the message could’ve been delivered in a less unclear way.

Cheers for doing these podcasts lads, they're great fun. Leon, I have the complete opposite opinion on the PES/FIFA issue I must say. Though PES isn't paced like football it ebbs, flows and builds momentum so much more authentically and has moments of madness and fluke goals which makes it feel like the real thing to me. FIFA feels like it was made by guys who've watched a lot of Sky Sports but have never been to a ground and every game feels exactly the same. Play Barcelona or Shrewsbury and every game feels identical. And Jay, welcome to the North, The Arcade Club in Bury is about an hour train ride from Liverpool, I imagine you'd enjoy it. Thanks again!

We understand. As Leon says, he was a Pro Evo evangelist for a full decade or more. He thinks both games do different things well but for him (not a Sky Sports armchair plastic type but someone who has been a football season ticket holder for over three decades across all four divisions and co-presents a football radio show), nowadays it's FIFA that scratches the 'simulation' itch better for him, despite buying both games each year since time immemorial. It's only a shame that there isn't a game that marries all the strongest aspects of both franchises and makes the perfect game!

Jay here, thanks Josh, my family live about 15 mins from Bury and so a visit to Arcade Club is very much on the cards sooner than later!
