It is my great honour to congratulate Josh, Leah, Brian and Tom for passing their exam and graduating to become official members of SeeD. As you all well known, being a member of SeeD comes with many privileges, but also many trials. They will be able to explore the many far reaches of the globe. From Deling City at the heart of the Galbadia Empire, all the way to the hidden technological super power of Esthar. The sights and sounds of which, will fill your younger class mates with a great deal of envy.  But they must also summon their courage when facing down corrupt armies, time travelling sorceresses...wait, does this say a water fall of moon monsters!? Any way, every SeeD must master the elaborate technique of drawing and junctioning magic. Yes, this may feel tedious at first, but those with patience can unleash swift death upon their enemies. ...It is also important that you all sign this waiver, that states that "Balamb Garden is not responsible for any brain damage you may incur while using Guardian Forces on the field." Don't worry, it's just standard procedure. Nothing to worry about (cough). So, are you four ready for your first mission? It's to evaluate the 1999 entry in a popular JRPG series. Anyone else having issues downloading / playing this?

Cane and Rinse

We have had a few folks saying the same thing. Many apologies - we are aware of the issue and are looking into it.

We've double-checked the file and everything appears fine it downloads into iTunes without any issue. One suggestion we'd offer is to refresh your feed on whatever device you're using.

Is there a patreon rss feed? I just download from Patreon directly when the email shows up. Sorry to be a pain!

I've scoured Patreon and can't seem to locate the rss feed address? Am I missing something glaringly obvious? Thanks guys.

I'm not an iTunes user btw, Android only here but having no luck on any of the PC's in my house or my phone :( it's literally only this episode I've ever had a problem with.

I ‘bounced’ off this game when it originally came out and have never gone back to it. However I loved hearing everyone’s opinion on it and really enjoyed the episode.

Forgot to mention that I found the RSS feed and the episode did indeed work! Must have been a bug on the Patreon page. Will use the feed going forwards. Halfway into the episode and it's a great one so far! Keep up the great work guys.

No problem at all, I've been meaning to for ages and when I listened to this month's podcast, I put a reminder to do it when I woke up. I wanted to give more but was conscious of when you said you like to have a steady, predictable stream of income, so I didn't want to have to drop it later down the line. Thanks for all your hard work, it is most definitely appreciated!

For me I really enjoyed Final Fantasy VIII and thought it was quite a step up for the series after the difficult to love FF VII. Though it has some undeniable flaws the mission statement of this game seemed to be fantasy can be anything. This game goes to some crazy places and I love it for doing that. The setting goes to place I never expected, I.e. lunatic pandora. The graphics were a big step up, I loved the junction system, and like you guys said in the podcast the art is on point. My only complaints being the fact that Triple Triad has some crazy rules that can be introduced, disc 2 is messy to say the least, the characters aren’t half as memorable as in previous games and the non-stop tutorials for the first disc. I know after that I sound negative but like I said undeniable flaws. Having said that this games take some swings that most aren’t willing to and I commend it for this. Definitely recommend this game to people who are used to RPGs, but if it’s your first maybe look elsewhere.
