Great episode. Loved the discussion about how certain mechanics (like a green mushroom right before a very difficult section) are percieved differently in different games. As you all said, there's no absolutes when it comes to game mechanics.

Loved this episode. It inspired me to go back to the game which i’d owned on wiiu and now have on Switch. I’d previously struggled with playing handheld on the Switch, trying to mimic the experience of the wiiu pad, but was pleasantly surprised when finally I played it docked. The blue circle was weird at first but after I while I genuinely didn’t notice it and using the pro controller was as joyous as always. Happy days.
