Concluding our Batman: Arkham series coverage (which stretches back many years) we arrive at - so far - Rocksteady's final game featuring the Caped Crusader. Leon, Brian, James and Thomas discuss 2015's Batman: Arkham Knight, including what it means to play as the bat in 2020, the inclusion of a playable Batmobile and whether or not we feel that the developers over-egged the pudding with this epic finale. A gang of streetwise hoodlums from the Cane and Rinse community also offer their opinions and Three Word Reviews.Music featured in this issue:1. Main Theme by Nick Arundel/David Buckley2. Really first rate discussion.

That was one of the best cane and rinse discussions ive ever heard and thats as a person whos read batman most of my life. The way you guys discussed the context of this game amongst the important and just movement happening today was very well thought out Also if any of the panel wanted to check out a great interpretation of batman's issues with mental illness in a comic book run highly recommend grant morrisons batman Basically it explains all the weird alien stories in the 60s and 70s in a way i shant spoil and explores batman as a lost child's attempt to control the world

I loved Arkham Asylum but City lost me after a couple of hours. I couldn’t understand the decision to go open world at all. Subsequently I never played anything else in this series so I went into this episode mostly to lighten up the morning commute but I’m happy to say it delightfully surprised me. Very good episode lads :)

I'm glad you wrapped this series up, I really enjoyed this one and your previous podcasts on the series. I actually only just played through this game in March/April when I was sent home from work because of Covid. I actually had a library rental copy which was supposed to be returned after a week but which I kept for months because the library had closed! I enjoyed the game a lot but was burned out by the end and although I got to the point where I was supposed to go see Scarecrow and be demasked I stopped playing and never went to see him haha. Batman wins again!
