More than five years since the last Silent Hill issue, Ryan, Leah, Brian, and Jon trepidatiously walk the winding hallways of P.T., the playable teaser to Hideo Kojima's mysterious Silent Hills project, which was, like many of P.T.'s characters, killed by forces unknown, leaving behind only ghosts and shadows of what it might have been. Does this short teaser live up to the Silent Hill legacy? Don't touch that dial and find out. Don't trust the tap water, and most importantly, look behind you.

When I got my PS4 the first thing I did was download PT. I played it with a walkthrough and I loved it. It reminded me so much of Silent Hill 4: The Room. Said sadly I deleted it from my hard drive after I beat it to make room for other things. Then they took it down from the store. Now I have PT on my download list but have no ability to download it again. If only I knew before they took it down… oh well, at least I got to play it to begin with.

FYI - There is a good PC Port of the original now. If you are still wanting to play it

A decomp or an official port, and of PT or SH1?

PT scared the crap out of me. This episode did not, it was great.

I missed out on PT. I had no idea about it until after the fact and it was pulled by Konami. While I've never played it personally, I've seen enough content online to understand what it's all about. Silent Hills will remain one of the great what-ifs in gaming history - I still hold hope that the creative team can make something very similar that doesn't violate copyright. This was a great episode and fun to listen to. It shows the level of depth in this game that you make a 2 1/2 hour episode and still not touch on everything.

Another great episode about a legendary game which I sadly haven't played, and probably never will :-( Luckily you guys were here to give me the skinny on what it was all about, almost as good as playing the real thing!

Excellent episode again! I think Ryan did an excellent job to bring it all together particularly with a panel that never “owned” the game haha. I remember the hysteria around the release after the gamescom stealth announcement. I downloaded it immediately and played along as the community unpicked its secrets. I especially love that even to this day the solution is not absolutely understood. I hope Konami change their mind and that P.T is not lost forever except on my hard drive luckily.
