Here's where you can contribute your thoughts and opinions for Hades for potential inclusion in the forthcoming podcast.A friendly reminder that where the feedback for the podcast is concerned, we love it - but keeping it brief is appreciated. We do want to include a breadth of opinions where appropriate, but no-one wants a discussion podcast that’s mostly reading out essays. Better to save yourself time and cut to the chase if you can.

There are so many great things to say about this game - the challenging and dynamic gameplay, the beautiful art direction, the pumping soundtrack. But what I love most is the rich story with a cast of interesting and wonderful characters who inhabit the world. The game is fast, and runs fly by in what feels like an instant, but you never feel rushed in getting to know the gods and demons you come across. It’s a huge credit to the writers and artists who poured their hearts and souls into bringing them to life.

Three word review: deified deed rotator.

Just here to make sure the podcast doesn't go by without sharing favorite builds. For me, it's probably going to have to me maximum Poseidon pushes with Zeus lightning every time something is knocked back.

This is one of my all time favorite games. It checks all my boxes for what I love about games. Great writing, great gameplay loops, great voice acting, and great characters. I will never forget the first time I beat Hades (the boss) and the satisfaction it gave me, I immediately did another run and dived back into the game’s wonderful world! Such an immaculate game that will stay in my heart forever.

I tend to bounce off roguelikes. I'm never quite able to get into them. Hades broke that mold for me. The game constantly forced me out of my usual comfort zone of relying on an "optimum" strategy. Another classic from Supergiant. Keen to see what genre they dip into next.

Initially I really enjoyed Hades, as someone who had devoured classical mythology as a child/teen it was great to see some of the lesser known characters and stories represented. The loop of the roguelike worked to compliment the world and story Supergiant had built. Unfortunately for me so the roguelike giveth it also takes away and after perhaps 5+ times completing the loop I began to get frustrated, keen to see more, but feeling completely locked out by the same several hours of grind. Likewise a lot of the interesting and compelling story beats started to blur & merge together leaving me with a slightly messy view of the story and particularly character development. Ultimately, this led me to drop-off the game before I felt I had seen everything it had to offer. Whilst I don't begrudge Supergiant for going down this route (it clearly resonated with lots of people) for me personally I would have enjoyed a more traditional linear game.
