Here's where you can contribute your thoughts and opinions for Lost Odyssey for potential inclusion in the forthcoming podcast.A friendly reminder that where the feedback for the podcast is concerned, we love it - but keeping it brief is appreciated. We do want to include a breadth of opinions where appropriate, but no-one wants a discussion podcast that’s mostly reading out essays. Better to save yourself time and cut to the chase if you can.

My memories are really hazy for this one, and I know I never finished it, but I also remember really enjoying it. I remember attending some sort of funeral in the game, and the highlights for me were those short stories you unlocked throughout the game. I wish I could remember more, and I wish I had time to tackle a huge JRPG like that now... Maybe if it ever comes to Switch!

I have a lot of fond memories of Lost Odyssey, despite never finishing it. The "protagonist with amnesia" trope has been done to death, but they did something interesting with it here. Using the short stories to fill in the player character on past deeds and events in the world was a great choice, and the delivery thanks to the music and visuals was sometimes quite moving. If I remember rightly, the one about pilgrims walking headfirst into the wind was very touching, but it's been a while since I played it! Also working the immortality of some of the main characters into the mechanics of the turn based battles was a nice touch.

This is a game that I've always been aware of but not being a JPRG fan at the time, couldn't distinguish from the raft of competitors on the 360 at the time such as Infinite Undiscovery, The Last Remnant and Star Ocean. Maybe it was just me but at the time their visual styles all blurred together.
