Here's where you can contribute your thoughts and opinions for Marvel's Spider-Man: Miles Morales for potential inclusion in the forthcoming podcast.A friendly reminder that where the feedback for the podcast is concerned, we love it - but keeping it brief is appreciated. We do want to include a breadth of opinions where appropriate, but no-one wants a discussion podcast that’s mostly reading out essays. Better to save yourself time and cut to the chase if you can.

Spider-Cat may be the single greatest addition to any Spider-Man franchise since the early noughties and if he is not in Spider-Man 2 I will be writing a *very* disapproving letter to Insomniac Games. Apart from the cat, Miles Morales is a charming game that offers largely the same technical experience as the first Spidey installment, and like its sibling game has fun, smooth gameplay (especially the traversal system) and good story-telling (Miles is a hugely likable lead character). At the moment, Insomniac are probably the company I trust most with any Marvel property.

I was hoping to get this played before the recording with the recent PC release, but a glitch in the game doesn’t seem to want to let me access the menus 98% of the time when I press the button so I’m holding off until the patch. What I managed to play felt like an improvement on the combat system from the first game. I’m hoping this version of Miles grows on me as the game progresses.

I bought it a few months after launch. With my PS5. I found it extremely dull and samey. I found the story unengaging and just a bit rubbish! I'm excited for Spider Man 2 though.

Similar to how Uncharted: The Lost Legacy was a leaner extension of Uncharted 4 with new characters and a solid story that all told didn't deviate massively from the tried and tested formula, Miles Morales takes what was great about the 2018 Spider Man: the amazing traversal, the zippy combat and the charming character interactions, but ultimately doesn't do a lot to improve on anything. Nevertheless this is an excellent addition to the new Spider Man gaming universe, the cat in the bag is amazing and I can't wait to see both Peter Parker and Miles Morales back in the next game.
