A bumper monthly this month, with barely a busted back or broken bone in sight! We cover all the usual bases with what we've been watching and playing, along with your feeedback for the first two and a half hours. We then have a slight change to our usual program when we're joined by Rich Davison to discuss our thoughts on season one of Andor now that the first season is complete. Not too worry, there's a clear point where those of you who are not of a Star Wars persuasion (Wait! What? Who?) can stop without having to endure three fanboys wax on about how they would die for this show (not really, but we did really like it A LOT!).Enjoy!Don't forget leave us your thoughts in the comments below so we can read them out in the next monthly!

I'm listening from NZ :) massive fan for years! But you're right, we're pretty far away from everything, which has pros and cons. Love the show, keep up the amazing work.

I'm glad to hear Leon liked Black Panther 2. Honestly, I liked it more the first, mostly because of how it stayed pretty consistent instead of really dropping quality in the 3rd act. I haven't watched any MCU shows other than Loki, but me this was the best MCU thing since Guardians 2. Other than the completely pointless CIA plot and some shit costume designs, everything really worked for me, especially Namor. I think the way they did his origin was fantastic. I liked that it kept a more serious tone than most of the other MCU stuff I've seen. It's probably got the best used supporting cast in a while, and the fact that the story is pretty self-contained is a real benefit for me.

Loved the Reservation Dogs shout-out

I always go massively hot and cold on Aronofsky films, I thought Black Swan was dreadful, but The Wrestler (which deals with some similar themes - it actually made Black Swan seem slightly unnecessary to me) is one of my all time favourites and I'd 100% recommend watching that. Requiem is visually and aurally brilliant but some scenes just seem so over the top that they verge into parody territory - I know that's the style it's going for (hyperreality) - maybe need to give that another go some time soon. The baby in Trainspotting gets the same point across a million times more powerfully thoguh in my eyes, just thinking of that makes me feel awful. On a more jovial note, enjoyed the podcast!

Hey guys! Just regarding the bit where you mentioned repromoting older pods by genre and so on: Assuming someone has mentioned this already, but I work in social media and typically — when we want to share links on Instagram or just repromote a series of posts organized by topic on the platform — we create Highlights albums and name them after each topic, and then upload Stories instead of posts. You can embed links into Stories with the link sticker, and assign the Story to its respective Highlights album. Should work! Apologies if already explored this option etc.
