Awesome, can't wait to listen!

Nice mix! Considerably more games I've not played than those I have, but quite a few I've intended to play for ages, so nice to have an excuse to get to them at last. 😁

I hoped for KOTOR last year but it was not to be. When Leon on this episode started talking about covering Star Wars games, my ears pricked up. Slightly disappointed the first two times when it turns out to be other games. Then he mentioned Star Wars a third time with a dramatic pause, and as soon as he said Bioware I did a little fist pump. About time guys!

The Pensky File

The double whammy of Josh taking a step back and the bumping of Final Fantasy Tactics into next year made me have to steady myself on some nearby furniture. But then you mentioned Into the Breach (one of the tippy-top games of the past 5 years) and all was OK.

Lots of good stuff on the horizon, ive been on a bit of a star wars kick this past year so im really excited to play some of those games alongside you guys. As always thanks to the whole team for what you guys do, the regular podcasts, the interviews, the monthlies, all of it brings joy to others in bite sized packages. Hope you guys have some pleasant holidays.

Very excited for the FIFA episode. I grew up with that series and wasn't expecting it to be covered! Sad to hear Josh is doing less episodes, but understandable of course.

A great mix of titles with all time PC games Oregon Trail and Myst. This has become a fun Christmas tradition now where I take a walk and “unwrap” next years shows.

Congratulations on completing another volume. Interesting list for volume 12, most of which I haven't played. But also includes Slay the Spire, the only game I forced myself to delete after playing for 400 hours.

Nice!!! Jacob Geller covers the Amnesia sequel in a video of his & it definitely sounds interesting; excited to hear y’all’s take on it!

Hey everyone - not sure how many people subscribed to the Patreon use the forum, but you should! It's a great place to talk about games, never any hassle or toxicity - take a look! The annual Great Big Cane and Rinse Forum Quiz is running at the moment, would be awesome to get some more people on the forum having a go! http://caneandrinse.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=3149

Some absolute bangers in the list but above all I’m very excited to hear Australian representation in the upcoming volume.

SludgeWizard

Good looking list. Hopefully this will finally give me the kick in the pants I need to finally play Into the Breach.

Mr Ixolite

Can anyone confirm whether castlevania adventure 2 Belmonts revenge was on the list, or its wishful thinking on my behalf? I'm pretty sure I heard it mentioned but am not certain (distracting parenthood tasks while listening)

Interesting list, although for me there could be even more games from the 80s and 90s. But as you discuss this odd US centric educational game from the 70s even Germans like me have heard from I will not complain;-) My favourite in the list is of course the Ridge Racer Episode. A bit unfair that the Mario Cart series has gotten more than a handful of episodes (and will get even more?) while the mighty Ridge Racer series will be done in one show, but again: you decide. I loved that Leon mentioned the PSP Ridge Racers which are fantastic. Please discuss these in the episode as the cars in those games have an amazing boost that I don’t remember from the other series entities. Just pure fun. Two more of the - in my view impressive - PlayStation 1 launch games that did each spawn a series that need to be discussed: Wipeout and Tekken - Wipeout being an all time favourite of mine. All the best for 2023!

Aldarik

It is in the list.

I love the idea of the addendum's for the remakes. Also a great reason to reissue the original and boost it on social media. Even the parts that have stayed the same might have changed in the panel's perceptions. Jay was right about accessibility, I wonder if you could get a guest on who is active in the accessibility community

Portal RTX would be great for this

Lots to look forward to, especially The Oregon Trail game for me (no sarcasm). Disappointed it's another year with no Earthbound, but I'll keep my fingers-crossed for it's 30 year anniversary next year.

Oh and it was a little sad hearing Jay's enthusiasm for 1899 at the end there. It got the axe just earlier today. I was a big fan of Dark, but haven't got around to it yet. I've been hearing good things. Now I'm not sure if I should get into it knowing it will likely never be finished.

Excited for the Myst show, I picked it up last year as part of a bundle and played through it, and honestly thought it wasn't nearly as difficult as I remembered.
