So we arrive at the conclusion of yet another mighty Volume of the Cane and Rinse videogames discussion podcast. In a change to our originally scheduled programme, we decided to give ourselves an easier time at the close of the year by taking on A Short Hike. Leon, James, Josh, Leah and community correspondents help Claire in her mission to the top of the Hawk Peak Trail, and although her main mission is to latch on to a mobile signal, the real story is the friends we made along the way.Music featured in this podcast:1. Dammit, nearly bought this in the sale yesterday, forgot there was a show coming up for it! I remember really enjoyed the half an hour I spent with it on PC.

Thanks so much to Josh for all the fantastic contributions over the years, we owe you a lot too, so grateful for your time and effort!

Hey everyone - not sure how many people subscribed to the Patreon use the forum, but you should! It's a great place to talk about games, never any hassle or toxicity - take a look! The annual Great Big Cane and Rinse Forum Quiz is running at the moment, would be awesome to get some more people on the forum having a go! http://caneandrinse.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=3149

Great episode, very sad that Josh is peacing out. I guess that at this point he is retro though ;-) Thanks for all your hard work this year everyone!

I bought and played this post podcast episode. The shortness of the game led to a somewhat unique experience - I have had more fun after "beating" it than I did while playing it through initially. I beat the game in 1.5 hours and that's just about when I started to feel comfortable with the map and moving around. Very enjoyable nevertheless - I do really like very short games.

Goodby Josh, it has been a pleasure.

Cannot believe I’ve sat on several copies of this game for so long and never given it a chance until now. Thanks for finally convincing me. It’s genuinely wonderful!
