Our Michiel's pick for this year's Volume of shows is Konami's series of cute, comedy shmup capers, Parodius. Leon, Chris Worthington, Michiel (obviously), Ryan and community contributors debate pronunciations, contemplate nonsense and revel in the surreal ridiculousness of octopi, penguins and pigs taking on an interstellar armada of absurdity.

This series was a blind spot for me, but after listening I definitely need to look these games up. They sound very up my alley.

One of the most enjoyable episodes in the last time. You guys seem to have had fun with these games. The discussion of Sexy Parodius was an all time favourite Cane and Rinse discussion for me. Penguins news live too!

This episode had me giggling as I was finishing up some busy work from home. I didnt expect these games to be so off the wall or raunchy at times, it made for some great banter between you guys. Also the guy Leon used to play pool with, Mr. Lek, sounds like he'd be right at home in a Yakuza game. SEXYYYYY SHOT!
