Here's where you can contribute your thoughts and opinions for Death's Door for potential inclusion in the forthcoming podcast.A friendly reminder that where the feedback for the podcast is concerned, we love it - but keeping it brief is appreciated. We do want to include a breadth of opinions where appropriate, but no-one wants a discussion podcast that’s mostly reading out essays. Better to save yourself time and cut to the chase if you can.

Death’s Door is a special game to me because I found it at a rough time in my life. The art style, music, and gameplay loop brought me much joy that I needed badly. This is a game that I will forever hold in a high regard, and will always sing its praises when telling people about it. It may be a small game, but it holds a huge place in my heart.

I came to Death’s Door having recently played Tunic and wanting something similar in style, nature and tone. I’ve never played a “Souls” game (through fear of inability) so comparisons to that collection makes me very nervous. I was worried I wouldn’t even know how to begin - where to start? HOW to start? It feels like trying to knit fog. However despite that initial nervousness I found Death’s Door to be a delight, brimming with 90s Nintendo charm. The little diorama worlds and portal system managed the experience perfectly and you could embark on thirty second exploratory raids or forays without much fear of failure. Thanks to this and a generous difficulty curve (as well as a hint guide or two) I played through to the true ending and enjoyed a captivating 12hrs. A good game for all ages and experience levels, in no small part down to its storybook adventure setting. I still wouldn’t know where to begin with FromSoftware though.
