Yeeeeeeah! Let's go! (When I have time to listen to this later). But let's gooooooo!

I distinctly remember buying the novelisation of the game Rage back in 2012. Gave a lot more depth to the paper thin story the game gives you

Cormoran Strike

Oh I know I just meant generally to your discussion of novelisations of stuff. That was a long while ago

Adam Forrester

fantastic episode! a heap of games I have completed multiple times coming up this year including: James Pick Lionhead and Bioware pick. looking forward to all of the episodes though

How do you decide the order of podcasts? Do you try to change genres from week to week or do you have other criteria?

Alex79

So pleased for Policenauts! I've had the English translation for years and years and never played it through. Been hoping you'd cover it for ages to give me the push to finally finish it. If anyone is interested, I reckon the optimal way to play this is on a hacked PSP or Vita with the English translation patch.

TomRed89

Elden Ring! Good luck keeping that to a 2-hour discussion. Also very pleased you are starting the Mario Land lineage. 3D World is probably my favourite Mario game, though it may take a few more years to get around to that podcast.

I was distracted by family goings-on while the podcast played and so might've missed it, but is Castlevania Rondo of Blood getting covered this year, or is it just Bloodlines for now?

I have to admit it, I punched the air when 428 Shibuya Scramble was mentioned. It's the show I've been waiting years for and I apologise in advance for the lengthy report I'll write about it. It was the best game I played during lockdown and I hope this encourages more people to play it.

I would also like to hear about the Vita console special

Jacoby Noctis

Very excited to have a Strider episode. I am a huge fan of the original arcade version!

On top of the stellar reviews and prodding from my son, adding Dredge to 2024 has finally pushed me over the edge to purchase and play on Switch. Between that and Star Raiders (been on my bucket list for a long time), it looks like I will be playing along, for once.

This episode reveal is always a great part of the holiday season that I look forward to. A very excellent mix of classic and recent titles! Love it, and very stoked for the upcoming year of issues.

Mr Ixolite

Fantastic! I was scared my favorite in the series had gotten cut!

Me and the gf sometimes like a cozy game to play on the couch and this was what we settled on this time. Between her love of Lovecraftian horror and the charming aesthetic, it was a smash hit! Truly a great experience for us :) Hope you enjoy it as well!

As others have said on this thread and previously, the podcast revealing the following volume's line up has become part of the collection of much-anticipated and treasured Christmas traditions. I've developed my own little ritual that I follow while listening along, which involves listing four different categories on a piece of paper ('have played', 'will play', 'won't play' and 'might play') then entering tally marks in the appropriate place as each episode is revealed. This helps me plan which episodes I might be able to contribute comments towards, or which ones I probably won't listen to immediately upon release but will go on the list for downloading once I've played the game in question. There's always a food and drink accompaniment - this year it was beef jerky and chocolate-coated Brazil nuts washed down with Honey Dew ale and a glass of Dalwhinnie Winter's Gold whisky. Two hours of pure contentment. A highlight for me this time around is Super Mario Land - one of the first games I owned and the first game I ever completed. And there's some symmetry with Untitled Goose Game, which I'm currently using as something of a gateway game for my four-year-old. Tekken 1-7 in a single episode feels ambitious, but no doubt you guys will nail it, as you always do.

Hello chaps. Very much looking forward to another year of top notch pods. Question for you, is the Patron edition available for Spotify? I just started using it but can't find it/work it out. I was able to easy add the enemy (TCGS) so I'm thinking maybe it's not.

TerrestrialExtra

Also, I'm not sure if I'll keep Spotify so could you tell me if there are any other pod players where I can access the Patron feed please? I guess there's always Patron 😉 but you know, everything in one place is nice.
