Not done the pod, but something struck me: Stacking is a game where you take over and use characters with abilities to do puzzles. Balan Wondergame was supposed to be a game where you take over and use characters with abilities to do puzzles and other things. investigators might have to look back into Yuji Naka...

In a first case for me of "(almost) playing along with the show", I dug out an old untouched copy of Stacking in the depths of my Humble library, and gave it a try on Steam Deck. I’m currently on The Gilded Steamship, and enjoying the game very much! Absolutely loving the presentation − the interwar setting, the enchanting visual style, the music, the cutscenes with intertitles − and the writing − both the dialogues and the wacky situations made me chuckle more than once. Thanks for bringing me to play this! I’ll keep at it for a bit before listening to the episode :-)

Looking forward to listening this one - just wanted to mention, I just listened to Cane & Rinse 99 on Psychonauts and at the end Leon mentioned that Stacking was likely the most interesting of Double Fines work and was likely on the big list… 10 years later! :D I imagine the big list is absolutely terrifying.
