I took this week to do some work on the timeline for the next arc of DBZ, and Bleach and I’m finally done. The best part about writing is this, the worst part is also somehow this, because you have to research the material like 20000 times to make sure you make the least amount of mistakes.
Bleach makes this especially hard, the creator was very and I mean VERY loose with dates and stuff, making a timeline for bleach is like finding the missing link for the theory of evolution or the one piece

90+% of bleach is writen via pure vibe, like the mangaka is an artist first and a writer second and said so on several occasions, just nail the vibe and dont sweat the details methinks

I agree with Nivlek on not sweating the small stuff. I once heard that Toriyama forgot that Saiyans are supposed to be born with tails. Getting random trivia wrong is nothing in comparison to forgetting about the basics of your main character.
Let’s not forget him giving Goku anti-feats every time the man has to lift something heavy lmao. Toriyama is the GOAT but sometimes it feels like he’s trolling like what do mean your character can fight gods but struggle to lift 50tons

Bleach was suppose to be a fashion manga first but the undercurrent of the story was so good the people who picked up the manga pushed that instead of the fashion.
