Politics is important, please do not misunderstand or misconstrue my words for anything other than exactly what I type. Neither option is where we need to be as a country. I live in a deeply red state & the policies that the pushed to the state are fought tooth & nail to be, how you say ... not backwards, maybe connect a dot from A to B before we worry about X & Y? PLEASE do not feel the need to "Vote down a line" just because you are in a "their team is worse than mine" situation. Research all of your local & state races as well. The real change starts when you change the local scene. Once enough cities/counties turn a corner the state turns right along with it. Voting isn't once every four years. It's every year, someone's term is always up. Vote with some knowledge when you do vote.

I worked as a highly skilled and well-compensated IT Project Manager for over 15 years at the same company, which helped me buy my house before I was 30 years old. But I was forced to go on disability due to severe fibromyalgia. Also, not everyone is on the same time zone, it may be night for you but it's not for everyone, grow the fuck up. I am going to jump in here, as you know I am a Canadian but I have been following everything going on in the US..I also consider myself part of the LGBTQ+ Community and I do hope that Americans make the right choice and vote for Kamala Harris...Voting for Trump would put the US in the same state as Russia...as Trump & Putin are close from what I can understand. My mother lives in Florida, and is a legal resident as my step-father is American but they are Trumpers...which I am sorry to say but it is what it is. I do hope for all American's lives, that they vote for Kamala Harris. Childless Cat Lady (and proud of it!)

I've been a Democrat ever since I was able to vote. I'm 38 now, and a recent transplant from California to North Carolina (been here for about 3 years) who lives with her 65+ mother due to being disabled and never having been able to work (legal blindness even with glasses). Last year, the day before Thanksgiving to be precise, I was told I had Stage 1 Mucinius Adenocarcinoma of the right breast. It's a rare and invasive, but luckily slow growing, form of breast cancer. I had a lumpectomy just a few days before Christmas, and 6 weeks of radiation therapy, 5 days a week, earlier this year. And now, for the last stage of my treatment, I'm o an daily Tamoxifen pill and lupron injections every 3 months. Even though I've always been a Democrat, I have even more reason to vote as one now, both as a woman who supports being in control of her own body, and as a breast cancer survivor who relies on Medicaid and disability -- two programs Trump and his followers can't wait to get rid of -- in order to survive. And I can promise you I'm not the only one in such a situation. There's too much at stake in this election, given the events of COVID and the Jan. 6 Insurrection. Trump is grossly incompetent, a wannabe strongman easily swayed by flattery who cozies up to pricks like Putin, Xi and Kim Jung Un. He's a failure as a businessman (filed for bankruptcy SIX times), a perpetual liar, a CONVICTED FELON, sociopath, and just a genuinely hateful, evil, pitiful excuse of a "human" being. In closing, I'm just going to ask this one important question: Why hasn't anyone taken it upon themselves to check Trump's scalp for three 6's yet?

I think most people will be voting except the majority of Florida due to recent catastrophic events that just occurred there. Either way It's going to be super close since this nation does seem very divided. I have my black emergency grab bag for days after elections because I been having terrifying dreams of what is going to come. I have this unsettling feeling and can't explain but its more so how people will take the elections. This all feels like we are living in the twilight because none of it seems real and for this reason that's why I play Sims more than ever when I am able.
