Souls Journey got you down?

All that Aspiration progress you made as a kid and teen feeling pointless?

Doing a lot of fun activities and earning Satisfaction Points organically by having a good time, a feature the game doesn't inherently support but I forced it to?

Nothing COOL to spend your Satisfaction Points on?

Consider: Souls Journey Progress. The N.W.D.D. has decided to offer an exchange of lifetime Satisfaction towards a fulfilled life via the distribution of Souls Journey Progress to willing customers. Sims who have accumulated significant Satisfaction may send it to the N.W.D.D., who will, as a gesture of good will, immediately replace it with Souls Journey Progress. All they ask is that you undergo a Satisfaction Audit before trading again, just to be sure your points are legitimate. There's nothing to be scared of! Grim's a nice guy, as long as you aren't committing fraud with life goal based currencies.

While being Audited your Sim will be a little nervous about the results, and unable to buy more progress.

But once the audit is over, they'll get another moodlet that tells you what their results were. Regardless of the results, you get to keep the purchased progress. It's just for fun! There are 6 total possible results, two of which depend a little on your Sim's traits, and one of which depends on their fame!

I won't give away what the rest of them say, but they all feature an explanation of some sort from Grim of what gave you the results you got. And as usual, I consider them all "Maxis-Match" and fun. If you don't mind spoilers and want to see them, you can view an imgur album here.

The amount of Souls Journey gained is always the same, and is not dependent on any other mods that affect Souls Journey progression. The rate of gain is identical to a "Large" gain in my Souls Journey Overhaul mod, whether you have that mod installed or not. This is enough to just barely not fill the entire first stage. The amount also increases under certain conditions, same as earning it organically.

Note that if you were to buy more progress when your meter is like this, it will somtimes only fill up to the next stage. Not always, but sometimes- I'm not sure why it does that. You won't gain progress beyond that icon for your next purchase- so maybe get some progress legitimately before buying again, alright? Just in case!
