I am overhauling the Computer pie menus. I want everything in a neat handful of categories, and I want those categories to make way more sense.

Here's the thing: A lot of computer interactions are career-specific.

Should Career-specific interactions be in the "Career" pie menu, or in a pie menu that makes sense for the interaction?

Career Pie Menu example:
-Interactions from the Doctor, Reaper, Military, Conservationist, Detective, Gardener, Activist, Business, Teen Hustles, and other careers were all over the place. With this option, they are all under "Career...". The benefit of this is that you know for a fact which interactions are career-unlocked because they are under this menu, and you can instantly find them.

Logical Pie Menu example:
-While the previously mentioned interactions were formerly all over the place, this option puts them where they "would be" if they weren't career-specific. For example, there are five Gardener interactions for writing and blogging. This option would move those under "Write". Meanwhile, the teen hustle Streaming career interactions would be spread across Social Networking and Gaming pie menus, rather than all being found under "Career". The benefit of this is mostly verisimilitude...Personally I think it has more downsides than benefits. But it depends on the person, I guess. Maybe you think "Ok, time to do some livestreaming career streaming" and click on "vidoe games" and get confused it isn't in there.

Would you prefer Career-Specific tasks be under the "Career" menu, where it's very clear to you that everything in that menu is something your sim can do as a result of their career? Or be sprinkled around other computer menus where they are more diegetically appropriate, so if you're going to "Write a gardening blog" you would look under "Write"?

I get why the Sims teams arranged things the way they did, but doesn't make it not annoying to have to scour for career interactions

i really don't like it when i have to search for anything career related in the "web" and "write" sections on the computer. i'd rather those just be under career.

Career-specific stuff being in a careers menu is logically the first place I would look if the writing act, for example, is a career task. Seems to me that if I need to do a number of different career-related activities they would all be easier to find if using a careers menu.

Career-based sorting makes the most sense for me, so I don't have to go hunting through the writing/web/research/etc categories every time.

Career specific makes the most sense to me - probably bc thats how my brain works IRL, too? Do I sit down at the computer to chill or to work?
