Big Sims 1 PSA (Patreon)

Sims 1 typically stores your data in the install folder, in the UserData folders. Each UserData folder represents one of the game's neighborhoods.

Legacy has moved this to Users/YourUsername/SavedGames/ElectronicArts!

This means if you install anyone elses houses, neighborhoods, families for the sim bin, etc, they have to go in these folders, and the game won't read from the main install folders! So if you're grabbing any old stuff, the instructions will be sending you to the wrong place.
