I explained it once on reddit (while also linking to your post) that romantic satisfaction is gamified love languages - if they speak the same language, it's easy to keep them satisfied. That being said, I wish some non-romantic interactions lightly contributed to satisfaction, like telling jokes. Just bc I get bored of doing the same batch of interactions.
