All my Werewolf mods, all in one place!

UPDATED 7/19/23
Several mods got updates to remove minor, inconsequential tuning errors. REDOWNLOAD ANY YOU'RE USING.

UPDATED 3/17/24
Werewolf Meditation Lowers Fury has been updated to not override any tuning and now requires Lot51 Core Library.

Mudbathing Lowers Fury (both flavors) have been updated to not override any tuning and now requires Lot51 Core Library. There is a minor display discrepancy in that the expensive version does not VISIBLY update the cost on the interaction.

UPDATED 6/2/24
Added "Emotional Control Reduces Fury"

UPDATED 10/23/24
Moonbathe Lowers Fury got an update.
Naked Return update.

Werewolves are very cool, but the gameplay loop surrounding them needed some work. Werewolves revolve around the Fury meter. When Fury maxes out, Werewolves are forcibly transformed, and they "Rampage". Rampage is an uncontrollable sequence of destructive behaviors, and a very fun mechanic to play around.

Problem is, by default, you cannot "play around" this mechanic. Fury is constantly being raised, and there are not very many ways to lower it.

My goal was to make Werewolves more dynamic by giving you more ways to manage Fury, changing how it works in some cases, and creating more cross-pack functionality that would let Werewolves resolve their Fury by being feral like the Wild Fangs- or by being mindful like the Moonwood Collective.

  • NOTE THAT WHILE THESE MODS DO HELP YOU MITIGATE FURY, THEY DO NOT CHANGE HOW FAST IT FILLS!

  • Use these mods by llazyneiph in conjunction with my mods to make it so you don't have to use these actions so often.

Howling:

Howl Basic

  • No longer causes fury, does not lower it

Howl Pack

  • Small fury loss instead of Medium Fury gain

Somber Howl

  • Medium Fury Loss in place of Large. Since other actions now lower fury, this one didn't need to be as strong.

Lunar Howl

  • No longer affords large EXP gain, instead maxes out Fury. This interaction  should not be rewarding to use, since it already rerolls your  temperaments for you.

Vicious Howl

  • Unchanged.  Medium Fury Gain makes sense for this as it's required for one of the  perks that you use it sometimes, and it should be a downside to that  perk.

Rampaging Howl

  • This is the autonomous howl when a sim is already rampaging. It now reduces fury  slightly. This might not actually do anything since fury empties when a rampage is over.

No EXP

  • This version removes EXP gain from Howl, Pack Howl, and Rampaging Howl. ONLY USE ONE VERSION!

UPDATED 8/13- Added Levitate interaction from Level 4 onwards, lowers fury at a rate of 2.25.

Updated 3/17/24- Now requires Lot 51 Core Library, no longer overrides interactions.

Very simple mod, makes Meditation lower Fury with each sim minute.

Default value is 1.65 per Sim Minute- Fury maxes out at 500, so that means if your Fury is almost full, it will take 5 hours to get it down to 0 from nearly full.

Requires Spa Day

Updated 3/17/24- Now requires Lot51 Core Library, no longer overrides interactions.

Small mod to make the Mud Bath interaction on bath tubs lower fury.

Fury lowers by 2 per sim minute. Fury maxes out at 500, meaning from nearly full to empty will require 4 hours in the tub.

This is faster than my Meditation mod but mud baths also offer fewer benefits, and cost money to do, so there's a tradeoff.

Requires Spa Day

TWO VERSIONS! USE ONLY ONE!

Expensive Version makes Mud Baths cost 200 simoleons instead of 60. The price will still display as 60.

This mod enables Zoomies as a user-selectable interaction. It's found under the Werewolf self-interaction menu! This is a new interaction that does not replace the existing autonomous one.

Zoomies will work exactly as it does on a full moon: You'll never know how long it'll take, and you CAN NOT stop it once it's started! You can also do it in human form!

The biggest difference is, when you do it yourself, it lowers fury!

Fury caps at 500. This interaction lowers it at a rate of 1.25 per sim second. Zoomies rarely lasts an hour or more, but you can spam it as many times as you  want, which you may want to do since it doesn't lower Fury too much. Beware! Zoomies counts as exercise! Your sim can get tired, or even injured, and Elders can even die of  overexertion, same as any other exercise!

While Zoomies "counts" as  exercise, it does not currently increase fitness gain, offer any  benefits to fitness-related traits, or count as fitness for careers.

Requires Scumbumbo XML Injector!

(Rampage No Longer Interrupts Work)

This mod alters the Werewolf_Fury_Rampage buff, assigned when you reach max Fury, to check if your sim is at work.

If your sim is at work, they will not rampage until they get home.

Previously, sims who reached maximum Fury while at work would get sent home early.

Loss and Gain packages are separated, so you can mix and match.

Please note that while there is a Fury Loss Large, it is only changed in the x5 version- from 150 to 300.

More Loss + Default Gain = Easier fury

Default Loss + More Gain = Harder fury

Mix and match however you like, but only use one gain package and one loss package at a time.

These  will affect my Werewolf Fury Interactions mod, but will NOT affect the  ones that change fury over time- Meditation, Mud Bathing, and Zoomies. If you'd like faster flavors of those just ask.

Another addition to the Werewolf Suite, this makes Moonbathe lower fury by 7.5 per minute- AS LONG AS YOUR SIM HAS THE NATURAL HEALING PERK. This is much higher than my other interaction changes, but it's only usable at night, and requires a perk. This is the most powerful option yet!  This mod is also available on the main Werewolf Suite page, and is the same version.

Moonbathe is an interaction found on self-clicking, and is not locked under the Werewolf menu.

I thought it was silly that Werewolves can't ever learn a way to completely freeze their Fury gain.

So I fixed it!  With this mod, your sim's Fury will be frozen as long as the following conditions are met:

  • Transformation Mastery is unlocked

  • Lunar Epiphany is unlocked

  • Natural Healing is unlocked

  • Primal Instincts is unlocked

Transformation Mastery is also a moodlet. You'll get it whenever you're in Wolf form after you've unlocked Transformation Mastery.

🚨FURY FREEZE WILL NOT BE ACTIVE WHILE RAMPAGING!🚨

Don't worry, I thought about that too. Transformation Mastery only shows up when you transform on purpose, so there's no risk of being trapped in Rampage form forever!

Includes updated strings (English only) to help you remember this is a feature when the mod is installed.

UPDATE 3/21/24:

Due to this being one of my first bigger mods, it was made...weird. It actually only worked if transformation mastery was the last of the 4 requirements you unlocked.

The mod now gives sims the Maxis "Fury Freeze" buff when they have the Transformation Mastery buff, as long as all the requirements are met. That buff is only in wolf form- so when they're in human form, Fury will still increase. The fury freeze buff may not block all sources of fury, it just blocks natural decay. Fury might be given to the werewolf from other sources at times.

I've also added a contingency that REMOVES the Fury Freeze buff when your sim enters a Rampage. The fury freeze buff works very strangely and if it's stuck on your Werewolf when they rampage, they may be stuck rampaging, so this prevents that. You'll get the freeze back next time you transform into a wolf from human form.

This new version requires Lot51 Core Library as it is no longer an override! It's significantly cleaner than the original.

UPDATED 4.16
-Updated tuning that supports Horse Ranch (Did you know transforming werewolves scares goats/sheep?)

This is a relatively simple mod- it makes Werewolves transform back into humans as nude just like the first time they get transformed.

This change will NOT apply embarrassed buffs. Sims die to embarrassment way too often to begin with and since you're a transforming werewolf people are gonna run away anyway. Plus I was too lazy to make it do that.

THERE ARE THREE VERSIONS, ONLY USE ONE!

Newbies Only: Sims will return from Rampage naked, UNLESS they have Transformation Mastery.

Rampage Only: Sims will return from Rampage naked, EVEN IF they have Transformation Mastery.

Always: Sims will always return from Werewolf Form naked, even when user-directed with Transformation Mastery.

Note: In my experience, the Sim will transform naked, and remain naked until they do something else or are user-directed to change. I've gotten reports that sometimes the nudity bugs out and immediately goes back to clothing, or the sim transforms, and THEN becomes nude. Both of these quirks seem to be issues with transformation, not with the mod, as my sim has experienced similar problems with transformation (like becoming a werewolf, THEN doing the animation to transform into one, for instance). These aren't on my end but let me know if you find any issues otherwise!

EXTRA: No Autonomous Hunting

Does what it says.

EXTRA: Severe Sore Throat

Simply makes the Sore Throat buff werewolves can get from howling too much last much longer, to balance the effects of Howling lowering Fury.

EXTRA: Emotional Control Reduces Fury

Makes the Parenthood Write in Journal, Wind Down to Classical Music, and Jog to Clear Mind interactions lower werewolf fury. Wind Down and Jog interactions both go for a while, so you can really run down your Fury using these, as long as you have them available from having Emotional Control.

The "Weak" version is more balanced, the normal version is pretty strong. Weak is recommended balance to go with all my other werewolf mods.

Only zoomies lower my werewolf fury :(

MJ

I can't find a description for the Waffle_Misc_Werewolf_Interaction_Changes_1.1.package mod. What does it do? I don't think it is all the other mods packaged together, as there are multiple versions of some of them.

Jacki

I absolutely love these!! 💜

Jacinda Howe

Would you consider adopting a mod that prevents relationship loss from werewolves rampaging? I previously used one by shayminnasakura on MTS but it hasn't been updated since 2022.

Wojtek Wojtkowski

Sadly the fury freeze doesn't work anymore, my sim has all perks he needs but still get fury :(

A

Is this one still good to go after the big july patches? Love this one so much, can't play weres without it ^^

Ocurimi

Hi With recent update My game doesn't work with your mod on, could you please look if it's still compatible?

Elethyl

We need a clear spreadsheet showing the compatibility & update status of your mods T_T I love your werewolf mods but I'm not even sure if they're still good to go. At least if there was a spreadsheet with a pinned "tested for XYZ patch" note on top of it, the individual last update on your posts wouldn't look as scary :(

waffle_mix_ins

Damn if only I had spent hours of unpaid labor making one and have it linked in the pinned post at the top of my whole ass patreon and regularly link it in new posts

Somasu

You're such a G for these mods, they make werewolves more bearable to play with. You're a great modder, thanks for all you've done for the community!!

Katie Skim

From Mod the Sims:Miscellaneous: Devour -Medium Fury Loss in place of Medium Fury Gain. You're losing an object to do this, so it seems fair. -Hunger Gain from Large Objects reduced to 50 from 100 -Hunger Gain from Small Objects reduced to 25 from 50 Scavenge -Medium Fury GAIN in place of Small Fury Gain. This interaction is a bit overpowered with small fury gain, and now it can be mitigated with other actions anyway. This is a balance change to make the new loss options less overpowered. Primal Instinct -Medium Fury GAIN in place of Small Fury Gain. This interaction is inherently an act of violence and should drastically increase Fury when used. NEW!!! Scratch -Small Fury Loss in place of Small Fury Gain. This interaction is an act of pent up aggression and should decrease Fury when used. NEW!!! Smash -Medium Fury Loss in place of Medium Fury Gain. This interaction is an act of pent up aggression and should decrease Fury when used. NEW!!! Tug of War -Medium Fury Loss on Success, in place of nothing but exp -Medium Fury Gain on Failure, in place of nothing but exp

Hailie Marie

Do any of these conflict with SpinningPlumbobs' Werewolf mod?
