Are you interested in modding The Sims 4? Are you a Mod Constructor user, or someone learning with Mod Constructor, who wants more control over what you're doing? Did you ask for help on Creator Musings and Waffle sent you to this tutorial because nobody there really uses Mod Constructor and Waffle thinks the Tdesc Builder is a significantly stronger tool that you can use to learn how to make larger more in depth mods just by playing around with it?

This is the tutorial for you! Download the attachment and head to the Tdesc Builder to follow along!

When you're done with this video, if you want to see a "directors cut" of sorts where I over-explain how to explore and learn just by poking around, check this out!

I've wanted to get into modding for longer than I can remember but couldn't find a good tutorial. This is excellent, can't wait to try it. Really hope you make more like this. In your video you mentioned needing a knowledge of creating buffs, traits etc. Do you have any recommendations?

Unfortunately the most succinct tutorials I know of for things like Buffs are made by someone who really sucks and I don't wish to link to...but there's a lot of threads on the Sims 4 Studio forums about them, I think. I *might* look into making my own tutorials for these things simply so people don't have to be linked to the other person I don't want to even name...

that would be awesome if you did. I've found a few but most are made a few years ago and the software has changed versions so if like me you are not familiar with it, it's kind of difficult to follow.
