Learn By Viewing? A Rambling "Tutorial" About Learning (Patreon)

Boy, this is a mess. I thought it'd be fun to do a freeform video showing how to learn how to mod with the tdesc builder...by simply screwing around in the tdesc builder.

This video is a long-winded messy "Sequel" (side-quel?) to yesterday's TDesc Builder tutorial. Think of it like a Director's Cut where I just kinda go nuts after finishing the main idea.

This video is completely unscripted (no shit), and it will not be everyone's cup of learning tea, but I'm gonna put it out there anyway. It's half an hour of me screwing around in the tdesc builder and explaining concepts as I go, to emphasize just how much you can glean from opening stuff up and poking around.

I apologize for the crummy captions, the transcriber I'm using is not great.

I do still plan on making PROPER tutorials for how to make SPECIFIC types of things in the tdesc builder, but for the time being, this one's just a heads up on how to "figure it out as you go". If you pay enough attention you'll learn how you can make overrides for traits and buffs pretty easily. The more you dig around, the more knowledge you'll get, and the more you know about the game, the more stuff you can find by digging around, and vice versa.
