Fun fact:

In 2017 I did some concepts for the Mario Movie! Well- a completely different version of it from a completely different writer/director which left me uncredited but that's the way it goes in sometimes. These came out cute, at least!

the portal shot looks so cool!

will the fish

WAIT WHAT????? THAT IS LITERALLY SO COOL!!!!

Sam

bruh that portal scene is sooo dope

Adriana Luna

NO WAAAAYYYY!! that’s so cool and it sucks that they didn’t give you any credit

NatCakes

Alex Hirsch worked on the Mario movie as well ifc!

Emilio Martinez

That’s amazing, were your name in the credits? How much Mario represented to your childhood?

Miy Eterp

It's a me Luz Noceda! XD

Toon4Thought

That is... quite a shocker lol

Rancid

Woah! Those concepts are so interesting. That goomba is so interesting

Mikeyyy

Oh wow:0 that's not very uhh.. i think that (w the credits) shouldn't happen, maybee😭

Animated Chris

Huh what was THIS gonna be like? Looks wild!

YellowPie

I didn’t see the robot body at first, so for a second I thought that goomba was your take on the weird Goomba With A Full Human Body from the live-action Mario movie

Thiago Carvalho

Wow, this is very interesting, surely it would have been really cool. Unfortunately you didn't got credited for it 😭

Antn100Q

This looks good. Gives me some vibes from later seasons of Amphibia

Michael G

I love the goomba being mad at Mario 😂. I can just imagine him screaming: "WHAT THE HELL DUDE? WHY WOULD YOU DO THIS?"

TOkun92

The Goomba seems more mad that it wasn’t even remembered, as opposed to being squished to death. Must’ve happened on a Tuesday.

The Pumpkin Usurper

Was the Goomba a reference to the live-action Mario Movie?

Cos

A cute 2D animated version of the movie crossing over with an older style of the games would have been cool as hell

R-DOLL

The portal sketch is incredible

Sepublic

You contributed to the Mario movie’s development????? I’m fascinated by how it seems as if Mario and Luigi would’ve entered/interacted with the 2D 8-bit world as its own level of reality from theirs!

Tinokel

That fountain one leaves an impression. And imagine seeing a 2d pixel version of yourself suddenly, question your place in reality

Antn100Q

Boss Goomba: wait, what do you mean you don’t remember me? Mario: ehhh… Boss Goomba: world 1-1? Couple decades back? You jumped on me and broke my… everything. You broke my everything Mario: sure it wasn’t another Mario? Boss Goomba: DESTROY HIM!!!

Matt Eldritch

I would love to see you do more Mario art!

Aww sorry for the no credit but I really adore these!!

Emily Wilson
