Star Wars superfan and great member of the RFR Patreon Community Mark Meyers joins us for the first time on RFR Q&A! Mark brings some great discussion to the table with Jimmy Mac including the similarities between sports fans and Star Wars fans, what we would do if we ran Lucasfilm, and what we expect from “The Skywalker Saga”. Plus, Mark has some questions about Savage Opress and the Nightbrothers and more.

RFR Q&A episodes are hosted by members of the RFR Patreon Q&A Tier, like Mark. These episodes are made available for listening to all members of the RFR Patreon community.

So much fun! Thank for all you guys do!

Anyone out there think Lucasfilm might be lying about it being the end of the skywalker saga?

It's only the end until someone decides it's not the end. If someone has a story that's worth telling you better believe it will continue...whenever that may be. They'd be fools to shut themselves off to potential story ideas. I reeeeeally hope they aren't fools.

Jimmy - have you tried looking for photos of that panel in Japan using Japanese?

Great conversation! I agree with a lot of the points about how the sequel trilogy could have been different. I really like TFA actually and would not have changed it. I think opening up with focus on new unknown characters and then blending them with original three in second movie would have been best, with final film in trilogy focusing again more on new characters in preparation for episodes 10 and onward

Fantastic episode Mark. Tell Alex and Anthony great questions! I totally spaced on the fact that the Mandalorians were responsible for Maul's latest robotic legs, and I found myself pulling up Wookieepedia to jog my memory on Zabrak tattoos etc. I'm really enjoying these Q&A's, and very happy/impressed with how well spoken the RFR community is. Keep em coming!
